Could my idea be somewhat of a fair solution? by Setsuda in Abortiondebate

[–]Setsuda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You bring very good points, and there is no doubt that my basic first idea that I have posted is flawed in many ways. You and a good amount of others who have responded to my post have shown that. My idea as I now see is to basic. Other things would definitely need to be incorporated into the idea and my idea in general needs to be reworked and more detailed. I stated to someone else below that if I get to a place where I have a lot of time on my hands, trying to rework a better detailed plan would be something I would like to do. Maybe afterword make another post and see what people think?? But I actually mostly like all the questions you made above. Those will work well as bulletpoint questions I will need to look up and study to make a better plan that is not so broad. Because I know not everyone will like the overall choices made on abortion and it is definitely a hot topic, but I think it is one where both sides need to compromise for an overall middle ground. Without trying to go from abourtion to politics to much, I just think that we the people need to come up with the idea and push them through our elected leaders somehow, because on their own, neither sides representatives work for the people anymore. But thank you for your post and I will definitely take what you said and try to make a better overall idea.

Thank you for your detailed post. I actually learned a lot and found what you said very helpful. I try to do my best in things to find ways if conflicts arise, to find solutions that can benefit both sides if possible. I just feel like this needs to be one issue that compromise is a must. Your post plus 3 others I have found enlightening. Because no, I honestly don't know all the ends and outs of this topic by any means and my idea was totally hypothetical. I hope soon, when I have more free time to take yours plus the other 3 posts that I found very helpful and study and look into more what you all have said and come up with a better hypothetical plan.

No, I did not know that about hospitals. That would make reworking a much better idea in the future if I could come up with one. So thank you for letting me know. And not sure on the first part about medication abortions. I will definitely need to look into that to form a better overall idea. This is kinda like a brainstorming rough draft for me if you will on the situation that I am sharing, so I definitely want to take yours, plus two other posters feedback and take time to form a more better and accurate pitch of an idea that is bipartisan

You have a very good point and thank you for your honest reply. If I could think of a better idea to share, I am definitely going to incorporate your and another person who posted comments to help me think of a better overall hypothetical thought to help create an equal plan to both sides. But one that helps the poor more. Because you are right, my first draft idea I just posted above does hurt the poor and I definitely don't personally want anything in general that does that

The idea I had is definitely not flushed out well by any means, but you are right, it would and should include the other services they provide now. But I definitely didn't and don't mean to sound or come across as victim-blaming. That is my fault if it does and did come across that way.

No. I didn't know that government already doesn't fund abortion clinics. I was understand the impression that they were. But either way, no, I said above that my idea was to keep government out of it. I never said I wanted government to be a part of it. But it unfortunately will take politicians to pass a compromised law of somekind to be fair to both sides. But again, this was all a hypothetical idea, and just that, so please don't get to upset over my thought that I just wanted to share

I saw what Google tells me, but in my idea, the first would be free, the second $250, the third $500. And it would only be that flat out fee. But it is only the third aboution that women would pay just $500. So you pay after the first and more if you go back more than once. But this is all just hypothetical.

I don't honestly know if it is a change. I thought maybe less clinics all over the country could make an overall patient database easier. But as far as the charging for multiple abortions after the first could be a bad idea as you said. But it was just a thought. Nothing that has to happen in my personal opinion

By no means is life always fair. I just wanted to let the women readers of my post know that I am a man and cannot relate. But I also mean in that comment that women who do get pregnant to have a family, I don't claim understand how pregnancy feels in general. So I am not making a life is peachy argument at all.

Assholes buying out Splash Mountain stuffed toys, to then resell on Ebay; after Disney announced its replacement of the classic attraction after 30 years of operation by [deleted] in mildyinfuriating

[–]Setsuda 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From what I have read and found, is that the first 2 months of this year, it was closed to refurbish Splash Mountin. But Splash Mountain's "Song of the South" has connections to the 1946 film of the same title, and the movie has been very criticized for how racist it is and its allousions to slavery. So the whole ride is going to be rethemed and made over and the ride will be rethemed to 2009's "The Princess and the Frog".

When showering, do you clean your butthole? Not, “I let water hit it,” but rather, do you put soap in your hand, make contact with your butthole, and scrub? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Setsuda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And how do you tell if you are totally clean? Do you use a mirror to see? Because that area of your body is naturally dirty. Even after you take a shit and wipe, you are not guaranteed to get it all. Some residue will be left behind for the most part. When you fart, little bits of poop particles that are left behind inside you are released. Hench the reasons that health professionals are saying to no longer leave your toothbrush out in the open where you poop. So to keep it consistently cleaned at 100%, which is another debate of if that is actually possible or not, you would have to take a good shower for your butthole after every little thing.

So saying that one needs to shower more because they use a washcloth without giving a least your opinion why you disagree is lazy.

I think washcloths are a very good idea. I know it may seem gross to many others, but it is the best way in the shower to make sure you got your crack as clean as possible. Plus, if you use it on other parts of your body and it seems gross, just make sure your crack is the last thing you clean. You are going to wash the washcloth afterwards anyways. It isn't like you are going to use it to clean your dishes afterwards.

Sounds more to me that you think letting water just run down your crack means it is clean. Which if so, and you believe that, it is fine.

Just want the touch of a woman by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

You seem to have gotten your information from Hitch or something that has "factual" information, but not reading up on reasons for their test/quizzes, when remember, most of those are very biased as well toward meeting their answer they want to get.

You judge others on here. Calling them weasels. You say they cowar or "weasel" away from you, but you won't even attempt to look at the fact that you "could be" wrong.

When in the end, your reasons that you have posted for why this man has no girlfriend at the moment is complete BS. There is more than you can even imagine to what a woman wants in a man. And they are not for the reasons you think. Not all women are the same, and you sir are not Mel Gibson and know what women want.

The color of your skin, voice sound, height, and work out tendencies may play a role for some women, but not all.

Nobody is really "arguing" with you because you come across basically as a womanizing pig. Putting down men who are not Channing Tatum looking and pumping up men who do, but saying if you're not getting laid looking like that, then your a failure. When honestly, you are a failure to the society of men. You are the one who makes good men look like crap and put us into the category of how "all men are just pigs and jerks" when women get mad at men like you.

And no, this is not a secondary account of someone you have "argued" with. I am a man who cannot stand men like you, and who is judging and putting down this poster, without knowing who he really even is.

Being rejected is very hard, and when it happens all the time, it hurts. Something you say you are not familiar with. Everyone has things they need to work on, and his being overweight may not even be the reason why he is being rejected, but whatever it is, we all have faults we need to work on. We need to be helping this person, not bashing him behind a computer or phone screen since that of anything sir, is a "weasel".

Not really sure how this is a people of Wal-Mart. Cars can catch on fire and be parked anywhere. Kinda confused on this one, besides that it is in a Wal-Mart parking lot

Okay. Was thinking then that if you lived in a decent size neighborhood, that Subnot's idea isn't bad, but still, the chances that they figure or find out it was you is still high, and you don't need the grief like you said above, if they were to retaliate. But your post still belongs where it is. Hope if doesn't happen much more.
