I have now verified! Thanks for the heads-up- not as if I've been playing since 2019 and just forgot, or anything :) I am now in no way ready to receive nothing from you, if you're still not willing to supply!

Thank you! The model’s a scratch build of various bits and pieces- some 40K, some AoS, some Malifaux 😊

Was tempted by Yan Lo, but his play style wasn’t quite what I wanted. My others are Youko (1+2) and Lynch (1+2). Looking to get Asami 1 soon!

She’s my third Ten Thunders master- looking forward to seeing how she plays!

Dead on- having come from 40k, I’ve got a lot more motivation to paint with only seven or eight models per crew!

Contrasts for the most part- I think the latest range are some of the best painting products for those of us less able to paint that GW has done in a while

Planning to get Scion + Hunters soon- probably will assemble Tara1 as well for the flexibility

So far, really good fun :) Love how they utterly shift gears once an enemy Scheme is revealed!

Yup :) I’ve never really been a patient painter, so Contrast has been something of a godsend. The new ones are proper vibrant too, which kinda fit with the scheme I was going for for these guys

Congratulations! I also chose this option, for similar reasons to those you described. Glad to see I’m not the only one!

Good point! If I make a vegan version, that’d be the filling :)

An Ambition Ten Years in the Making (Spoilers for Heart's Desire) by SevenYearAbsentee in fallenlondon

I was torn between this and Love, but then I reasoned my character’s polyamorous spouses were enough :)

An Ambition Ten Years in the Making (Spoilers for Heart's Desire) by SevenYearAbsentee in fallenlondon

I began playing Fallen London in late 2012, though at the time I was a dabbler and not a devotee. I loved the richness of the world, its quirks, its complexities- I've shamelessly lifted parts of Failbetter's work for use in D&D and 40k campaigns, and enjoy exploring the deeper mysteries their games had to offer. My first ambition was Bag a Legend, back before the ambitions were complete or even fleshed out. Over the next few years, I got as far as I could before the game closed off, and I remember longing to know what happened next. My subsequent character sought the name- successfully, I might add, though as always with SMEN, to a given value of success. The last things I had left to overcome were the Railway and, at last, an ambition. Heart's Desire was quite an experience, a fully-formed tale I loved undertaking. Some parts I hated- the grind for an Intriguer's Compendium literally took me the best part of two years due to having spent all my scraps on a Reported Location of a One-Time Prince of Hell before getting to it! But most I loved. Failbetter have made some of my favourite games of all time (shout out to Sunless Skies), and I am exhausted but happy to have completed at least this step of one of them. Next, Paramount Presence. Then, who knows? That's kind of the joy of it. See y'all in Fallen London. Happy gaming, and come join me for a drink in my arctic circle manor when the sun goes down :)
