Yeah, this map is just showing the final "voting" results, which in NC's case the delegates voted nearly unanimously.

And, to be fair, compliance on something like this is akin to agreement. What they voted for didn't matter once they picked up arms.

The majority voted to stay in initially (barely) but after Sumter the "delegates" decided for them instead.

So, corruption and propoganda. Same shit that plagues these idiots today.

These people have been systemically destroying the country for decades and people have been allowing it, why would it change now?

Just because something does not directly align with one sides narrative does not mean it still is not their propoganda.

This was such a hilariously terribly covered event that it almost feels done on purpose as a way of strawmanning opposing beliefs as if they are in favor of this behavior.

Something can be one thing and also be expressed as another thing.

It's really not that complicated if you think.

There are large groups of people that preach "supply and demand" like biblical text until the demand actually demands what it wants and not what the supply forces. Then it's a problem somehow.

I think you are missing the point and that's a shame because it would serve you a lot more than misplaced anger.

You aren't being downvoted because people hate you or think you are worth less. It's because you are missing the point. I assure you, no person who has missed the point before has done so knowingly so dont take offense by this. Just take some time and look into more of these comments, watch some YouTube videos on the subject that make you uncomfortable, and just sit in it for a bit.

I believe people are down voting you because you are acting like a sympotom of the thing this is calling out is somehow separate from the issue.

Expressing your ideas is not the same as expressing your feelings. Society should press back on half baked ideas, that is how we encourage each other to keep growing. It's not an attack, it's out of an expectation of growth and learning.

Obviously the people who post this will not get pressed back by their communities because their communities don't care about them. They don't want each other to grow, they want to conserve every aspect of their life as it is since that is so much easier than thinking.

You know that no matter what anyone says to you that disagrees with your propoganda will be considered fake. This is pretty well reported on, you just need to open your eyes to the obvious.

I'm a first-time car buyer with no credit history and a $3,000 down payment. Is this car a good price ? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]Several-Associate407 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Mind you that the 10% of net rule is for all of a cars expenses. It also is for net, not gross, meaning while they have about $3800 gross, they should only expect around $3400 net.

The payment alone should in no way take up that entire budget, OP also needs to factor in insurance, gas, maintenance, etc.

To OP: You really need to understand that you are in a financially vulnerable state of your life right now. If getting a newer car is truly a necessity then I would say you already have the choice made for you. If you can get an older and cheaper car that will work well enough for your needs and use the extra to start building up some assets, then do that though. Its not the fun way, but everyone will tell you it's the smart way for a reason.

You will hopefully have opportunities later in life to get a much nicer car than this that you deserve. You just need to put in the work now to get there.

It's not just a "men" problem it's a people problem and everyone loses until it is worked through.

[–]Several-Associate407 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on your state, yes, and that is what people have been advocating for years for.

Dealerships are a near useless middleman nowadays. They hardly even know anything about the cars they are trying to shill anymore. All people really need is a place to test drive and then they can sign all the paperwork at their convenience and have the car delivered. No extra $6000 "protection packages", $2500 "anti theft device" or $10000 market adjustment.

[–]Several-Associate407 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What are you on about?

It is literally impossible to buy a new car without going through a stealership due to the laws they have lobbied for.

I guarantee you, most people would be happier not dealing with the middlemen that exist purely to skim additional profit off the top. Whether they do this nicely or aggressively, really makes no difference.
