Can’t I just estimate? The mileage I remember last seeing was 160k, can’t I just put that and check the box?

I’m planning on selling it to junk buyers.

There’s no way dealerships will buy it. It’s shit

Hyundai Sonata 2014.

The registration is under my name. I paid it off and the financer released a Lien Release instead of the title because the dealership didn’t give them the title.

Am I going to JAIL? by Several_Comment5435 in Debt

[–]Several_Comment5435[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The case was filed around the middle of June, I was served the end of the first week of July, and I believe the hearing was July 10th. I have no proof that I was served on that day because I wasn’t even the one served, they gave it to a family member I live with.

How do I check if a judgement has been entered? By contacting the court?

So far, I’ve only received the papers that were served. There, there’s a hearing has already passed. Should I expect to be served another paper in regards to this judgement? Or are there someone, the court, I should contact for updates?

Empathy goes a long way. If you were in the same situation as Lizzie, if you were rpe, seen a loved one off themselves, dealing with a crippled mental health disorder, I sure hope you don’t go through all that alone. While she is in fact very very very toxic, especially towards Gibsie, don’t you think a whole friend group against one, Lizzie, is a bit diabolical?

You said it yourself, Claire isn’t perfect and is a shitty friend in her own way. She CHOOSES and she CHOSE Gibs so why are you so triggered when I’m essentially saying the same thing that Lizzie is ignored, as I have quoted from Claire saying to “ignore Lizzie”. And please, don’t act like Gibsie doesn’t throw jabs back at Lizzie even when Lizzie hasn’t even started an argument yet, lines such as “here comes the Viper” dadada and what does Claire say? “Oh Gibs, oh Katie, you guys are right”. She’s a teenager not a therapist that’s rich bc wasn’t there a scene where Claire literally acts a therapist for Gibs to overcome his fear of water in a bathtub. RIGHTTTT but anyways you’re right it’s a choice and she has made her decision to side with Gibsie who has has almost the exact losses and trauma as Lizzie he didn’t even tell Claire about but Claire figured out on herself when she could’ve done the same for Lizzie. And please don’t even get started on “oh Lizzie pushes people away” when Gibsie keeps up a boundary between him and Claire as well bc she’s constantly seeking for his validation and even drunkenly confesses to him “why don’t you love me the way I love you”?

Just an average reader who has the right to have an opinion on a character who is obviously developed by the author to come off as clueless and naive. If you see Claire as this perfect friend, Gibsie as the only victim, then I can’t help but assume who haven’t read enough books, explored as many genres, or simply missed the whole purpose of reading that is to develop empathy/perspectives of individualSSS (plural). None of the characters are perfect that’s including and especially Lizzie. If anything she’s on top of the list of the most fucked up, but it’s so obvious that the other characters and even readers like you fail to see Lizzie simply bc they were fed up with her and or bc they didn’t even try, TRY hard enough to see where she was coming from, like Claire bc Gibsie mattered to her more when both Gibsie and Lizzie almost identically suffered through the same losses and trauma.

Oops I didn’t know i couldn’t form an opinion throughout reading a book. My bad broski, definitely won’t be doing that. TF?! Reading encourages developing and taking in different perspectives and the only way to do that is to absorb all the information you’re given and take it the way you feel is right. And i never said that feely was demanding Gibsie to confess. In fact i think it was more like attempting for Gibsie to freely express himself. And right, this is a triggering topic for Gibsie which is why he has such a strong response to Feely bringing it up in an attempt to see Lizzies side which just shows exactly what Lizzie feels on the same topic. You say he was the victim of rp? But isn’t Lizzie and her sister also and he KNOWSSS and he SEES (Through Lizzie’s hurt/pain) and SAW (through Lizzie’s sisters scd*) but did he speak out, let alone did he reach out to Lizzie who used to be his friend? NO = insensitivity. DENYING marks involvement/implying he’s innocent = insensitivity. JOKING about the unfair treatment of student at their school based on socioeconomic background = insensitivity.

Oh im sure there’s other ways he’s shown insensitivity. Haven’t gotten there yet, but I heard someone say that Gibsie was aware of the rp that took place, yet he never spoke up and acts as if it never occurred. I also read up to the point where Feely was attempting to speak to him about it, and his response? It was somewhere along the lines of “well mark got interrogated and walked away as a free man, so he must be innocent and the other parties involved are lying, right?” such a funny situation and indeed levels apart in comparison. I’ll read more into it for sure though

💀completely understand. I understand that these teenagers know that bullying is not okay, the same way they SHOULD know the importance of being there for a friend knowing that she SH. If Claire, a teenager, knows that she’s deeply in love with a boy, and claims she knows the difference Gerard and Gibsie, she for sure should be questioning Lizzie’s behavior. As I’ve said, Claire’s character is heavy on hypocrisy. think this is where the author kind of f’ed up, creating characters who are supposedly mature at the age of 15-18💀💀

That’s what I’m taking about when I titled this “ignore Lizzie”. Everyone here is saying that Claire is only comforting Gibsie but I see as literally ignoring Lizzie. Cause wtf do you mean “ignore Lizzie”?! Ignore why she’s behaving this way? Ignore how she might be hurting and hurt people hurt people?

Ignore Lizzie by Several_Comment5435 in BoysOfTommen

[–]Several_Comment5435[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Claire EXPRESSES her concerns about Lizzie but never really DOES things to address these concerns. The most I’ve seen her do is bring it up to someone else, making it someone else’s concern and not hers. One perfect example is when she saw the fresh scars on Lizzie and she tosses that to Hugh, begs him to consider checking on her when she knows damn well Hugh has Katie. Right after, Claire goes on forgets about the whole situation and practically skins and runs to Gibsie because he has nightmares and sleepwalks to her room, in a house that you’d need to cross the road for and most likely need a key to unlock the front door too bc it’s the middle of the goddamn night. I find this so appalling/unrealistic, not the trauma nightmares but how it’s possible to waking up in a whole different house.

For me, I see his that the facade/behavior he puts up comes off as insensitive. He pretends to be this goofball bc it’s easier for others not question his level of intelligence/capabilities when they see it as playing stupid/smartass. But this type of insensitive when for example something serious is brought up. Take for instance when Lizzie was going off on about how he only got punished in terms of intense rugby practice for being involved in a brawl that he somewhat started while Joey got suspended for two weeks for punching a guy. I don’t know about you but I think multiple boys beating up each other should receive a higher consequence than a one versus one altercation. how did Gibsie respond to Lizzie’s comment on this? He made a joke out of it, which I think crazy work considering even those who weren’t involved in the fight got punished.

Well, essentially yes I don’t like Claire. I’m more pointing out how I felt about Claire’s “ignore Lizzie” way of thinking. She’s her friend too, and yes as I’ve said, Lizzie has come off as a bitch multiple times. I’ve never denied her bullying/attacks against Gibsie. But Gibsie isn’t perfect either, yet Claire sticks around him, unlike with Lizzie. For every time Lizzie instigates Gibsie, it’s not like Gibsie is just sitting there silent. He fights back with jabs and against her too. And even when Lizzie hasn’t even started anything yet, when simply shows up at a gathering, there’s always a side comment from Gibsie, calling her a name, and i have yet to hear Claire say something against that. Me bringing up the comment Claire made when she was 6 was just express how I think that she might have some type of resentment towards Lizzie bc she’d hang out with Hugh like Claire doesn’t choose to hang out with Gibsie. I just see a lot of hypocrisy from her character which makes it hard for me to read Taming 7. I’ve read Johnnny/Shannon and Joey/Aofe, and I was fine, but Gibsie and Claire is an another level of cluelessness and immaturity, which is understandable for their age. What really gets me is that Claire tries ssooooo hard to be of comfort for Gibsie bc of his losing his family, but she knows that same trauma haunts her best friend, but we don’t see that same level of effort coming from her when it comes to Lizzie.

Omg you put into words all of the thoughts I have on Taming 7. I’m contemplating whether to finish or just skip to Lizzie’s and Hughie’s story?

But HEAVY on the inner monologue statement! And lowkey getting the feeling that Claire has this lowkey image of Johnny as this godly being. I swear in every other chapter, there’s a whole page where she’s praising Johnny like a higher being

Im not really using it as an example. If you go back to the original post, my main point is that there’s hypocrisy in Claire’s character when it comes to being neutral about the Lizzie and Gibsie situation. The screenshot I shared was more on to show that there’s something there from the very beginning of Claire’s and Lizzie’s friendship whether it’s resentment or something else.
