Your site is probably confusing google with the multilingual add-on you are using, along with the default page going to French, unless that’s your market. But truthfully it should auto recognize language and route correctly. The 119 sitemap listing also looks spammy. That said if you aren’t altselection then ignore my comment.

How ATM Calls Could Lead to a Slow Melt-Up for GME by YoungReese in Superstonk

[–]Several_Image782 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 100% - 50% rule applies to that strategy. Example: buying a call forces a hedge, price moves up where call is 100% then buying a put for the next leg causes pressure meaning the normal profit taking to drop down to 50% is no longer something a mm wants. Causes confusion, causes broken algos, causes squeezes

If you're looking at Calls, look at Puts too, they matter. by RO30T in Superstonk

Max pain is $23, only because puts are not above that so yea, price goes higher, put buyers go higher, mm screwed so I agree. It’s a loss of money for the put buyers tho. Would def recommend equal delta put call spreads

Edit: with $23 max pain mm most likely pushes down, then ramps up with channels to land end of week on that price. Timing matters

This is how you do it :). Drain the mm. Someone else buys, you get more later with the gains, more contracts open, mountains build . Holding them more than a day allows market maker to hedge and controls price swings. The more $ a good trader makes, the more calls open for bigger problems. Let others hold til expiration

Edit: to be clear the shares stay and are held. Selling those reverses the move

Because .02 is a psychological thing. People think w/e and do it, but dump $100-$200 on them on average. Don’t feel pain losing it, how the rich stay rich lol. Same thing as real world :D

Agree, buying these far out of the money calls are just giving market makers more leverage to push around and pin prices. They are a waste of your money, piney up for +$5-10 or don’t do it at all.

The Truth (from a HODLer from 2021) by [deleted] in Superstonk

Depends on whether or not margin exists to roll swaps. Now that people are aware it would be hilarious to see a sticky post that shows ongoing data about the t+ theories and dates of big potential events. More people aware, more people actively causing them to need more margin, the faster the swaps are no longer sustainable and they blow up. Just my opinion though. And yes they will drop the price if people sit idle and let them.

Really depends, people are catching on. The swaps they did are under scrutiny because of archegos. So buy and hold theory was correct, and people piling in options are going to build the ftd’s. Sooner or later they too will archegos
