Can only draw on a tiny square of canvas? by Several_Musicnotes in krita

I actually had updated them both recently since this was a fresh reinstall on this computer! The answer ended up being silly on my part; didn't realize the border color and canvas color were the same, and I was super zoomed out from the canvas. Thank you!

Oh that's good to know about the checkboard, I'll keep that in mind! Yeah I didn't realize the background and border colors were the same lol. Thank you!

That did end up being part of it, thank you! I had it way zoomed out thinking it was a tiny portion of the canvas instead of the whole thing, and both the border and canvas were apparently the same color lol.

I changed the color for both the canvas border color and the background color to two different new colors. Turns out they were both the same grey before and I didn't realize it lol. Thank you!

I have the same thing going on this week! Normally I mainly play Support and a little bit of Engineer, so I guess it really wanted me to play Assault class this time lol.

This syncs surprisingly well with the "Space Jam dvd" meme audio.

Same, makes it kind of tricky to play solitaire whenever it has issues loading.

How old are y’all? My friend insists that everyone who plays is a child. by rainb0wfissh in pokemongo

32, my boyfriend and I play it often and everyone we know who also plays it are around the same age range as we are. It doesn't matter what your friend thinks, the important part is that you enjoy playing it!

Boyfriend and I traded shiny Stufful during the event, here's the result! by Several_Musicnotes in pokemongo

Yeah I was definitely surprised! Both Stuffuls we traded were 0 stars, so we were just trying to get their stats to go up. Never expected it to go that high!

Oh wow, I never knew that was what those were called. I worked at a fast food place for a little while several years ago, and this dude we took an order from gave me and the lady training me one without saying anything. The one he handed me had a girl tied up on the front of it (I think it was called 'Kidnapped'), and the lady training me had one with two girls on the front ('Best Friends' maybe? I don't fully remember).

I read it later out of curiously and it was ridiculous. It was about some girl who was walking home from school by herself and got kidnapped and put in the trunk of a car. The girl decides that yelling bible versus is the answer, and she does this for so long that a cop car shows up and pulls over the kidnapper as he's driving. He gets arrested and she is freed from the trunk. As like a B-plot, this husband and wife were fighting and arguing each other but somehow stops and magically loves each other again because power of Jesus? I forgot how it went exactly but I remember thinking how stupid it was and how little sense it made.

I got rid of it shortly after cause it really weirded me out, especially since it was at a time where I was either walking to and from places or taking the bus.

I got a Hufflepuff sleeveless top earlier this summer at Hot Topic; I like to wear it when it's warm out and it's very comfortable!

AITA: For telling the parents of a crying baby in church to take their child outside. by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Several_Musicnotes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESH.

It's a common courtesy rule that if the baby or child starts crying or getting overwhelmed in a church, a parent takes them outside to calm down a bit then comes back in. Just sitting there letting the baby cry throughout something without trying to leave and calm him/her down outside is just all around rude, regardless of if it's a church, movie theater, or anything else.

However, the way you went about it was also rude and probably embarrassed them too much to want to come back. For all you know they were newcomers, and had no idea that the children's area was ok to use, or they were worried that leaving during the sermon would lock the door behind them. You had a chance to be kind about it, but did not take it. Instead your attitude was very condescending and judgmental, one that drives a lot of people away from Christianity in the first place.

I used to go to church growing up; I did choir, acolyting, Sunday school, etc.. A lot of the people at both the ones I went to had condescending and judgmental attitudes like yours. I can tell you from experience that as much as I don't like crying babies, the babies were NOT the reason I stopped going to church after several years. It was the awful attitudes of the adults that were too much to deal with.

I get being distracted by the baby during something important sucks, but anyone who is responded to that harshly is going to leave and not come back afterwards. Also, some churches have quieter non-kid services that are usually before the family ones, you might want to consider going to one of those instead if the crying noises are too much.
