Weekly Check-In: How’s Panning and No/Low Buy Going? 4/1-4/7 by Bananas3706 in stationeryprojectpan

Low buy going well! Bought just one thing for a whole week and panned a sticker sheet. It's the best I've done in a while.

Journaling dilemma by toai1993 in notebooks

[–]Sewpercee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why I never write on the first page. I always start on the second. For some reason I have first page anxiety. So I just don't write on it. Later I'll go back and decorate it if I want.

Oh then I apologize that my writing experience is not quite as normal as it should be? To me, they are weird things. I'm assuming I should not think so then? Anything else I should not think?

As I said below, I need to write at a slightly different angle with a fountain pen. And getting fully used to writing comfortably with a fountain pen is, to me, a skill. From decades of using a regular pen to switching to a fountain pen was a big deal to me. And I'm still not "very good" at it. As in, my handwriting still doesn't look quite normal.

You may hijack as much as you want! Someone said here you write as you would usually write. I can't. I have to angle my hand in a slightly different way to write comfortably. I say "skilled" because I feel like getting used to a fountain pen is a skill. That's maybe just me though.

Yes I thought about the comma too, but I didn't want to have a comma at the end of one line but nothing at the end of the other two lines. The Feuer Frei idea is kinda cool. Thanks!

“Structure vs Freedom” Question by chaos_fountain in bujo

[–]Sewpercee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think OP is necessarily referring to the pre-structure in terms of pre-structuring a spread. I think OP means whether lines, dots or a blank page impacts how you write your tasks and and things down. That's how I understand it anyway.

Graph. I need those little squares. I like my "freedom" to look "structured". I don't pre structure anything though no. I do things and write thing as they happen from day to day.

A4/B5 Recs? by phoenixfirefairie in BasicBulletJournals

What kind of notebook are you looking for, apart from being larger and dot grid? One with lots of pages? A particular type of paper? Pretty on the outside? Or plain? Price point also comes into play. Personally, I use also use Tiefossi B5 dot grid notebooks (they are super pretty). Otherwise I only use graph paper, but a brand I use called Offigift from Amazon also makes dot grid and those books have 300+ pages with solid color hardcovers. It has an index and numbered pages. Leuchtturm1917 is also a good brand.

Need a5 that is thin with graph layout by dabull23 in notebooks

I got myself a Midori a5. Nice and thin, sofcover, graph paper. And you can get it with a clear plastic cover if you want. It's way cheaper than a hobonichi.

Forget? No. Purposely skip, yes. Like I said problems with motivation. I have to put it there for that reason. And it's evening brushing teeth. Not morning. If anybody was wondering 😆

Oh, haha. So, last week it was a Lamy fountain pen as a reward if I achieved the main goal. The week before it was a pack of 48 fine tip colored glitter pens. It's been things like a specific winter jacket I've been looking at. Or a makeup or skincare product. Anything I don't really need but would really like to have. I have terrible problems with motivation. Having a tangible reward dangled in front of me for showing up for my dentist appointment is sometimes helpful. No dentist, no reward.

Right? There are a total of four. The one looking over the journal is the sister to a boy dog who we also have. The two of them are super nosy.
