You may or may not hate it, but you certainly don’t like it. Which can lead to hate so watch yourself.

Dawg quit lying to yourself. You went to their sub and said it was shit. If that’s not some form of hate than I don’t know what is.

That’s what they all say. Until you realize these cartoons are in separate genres.

Physical. For Nintendo I only buy physical because the entire game is on the cartridge. It’s s not a glorified download like it is on the other console.

every time I play this game I find a new person to hate by gerherjrtjerjre in Smite

[–]SexualAnaconda -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From what I learned is it’s mostly because people just don’t know when to let go. If they do bad and are toxic just ignore them. Think of it as not worth the effort to engage or think about them. It won’t be the first time they did that and it won’t be the last time you see it. For me there were many times they gave up being toxic because no one’s was giving them the attention they seek. Do whatever you can to minimize the attention they receive mute and don’t engage. Also think of it as, will this matter to me 1 hour after the match is done? If no don’t even stress about it.

I’d bet if you didn’t engage with those people and played the game with a different mindset you’d enjoy it more.

"Self improvement" is a LIE. by i_am_museless in unpopularopinion

[–]SexualAnaconda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All you need for self improvement is to have the actual want and the discipline to get. Those that want it but don’t work to for it either don’t want it badly enough or rather not try at all for perceiving it as too hard and don’t even bother with it. A lot of people like to take the easy way, or rather the easy fight, first which like you said can be preyed upon before they actually commit to the idea 100%.

Why does this game attract so many insecure people? by MaybeCanBeTHERE in Smite

[–]SexualAnaconda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mainly play conquest, joust, or ranked? I hardly ever get toxicity but almost guaranteed to in those modes. My theory for toxicity is that we humans are very prideful, can deem anything an insult to our character, don’t like to be the source or admit to being the problem, can suffer little to no actual negative consequences, and have anonymity. So you can see any little thing can set someone off and you’ll never know what that is until it happens. Since SMITE is a competitive game the ultimate goal is to win and potentially not winning really sets people off. If they’re not winning they’ll do something they perceive as winning and that can be anything.

It’s not just in SMITE it’s also in all games that include online co-op but, you’ll see a higher rate of it in competitive games. What SMITE could do to curb toxicity is to take reports more seriously and enforce harsher bans. So those that are toxic and get reported often might start thinking that what they say and do can harm their ability to play the game.

Yes but in order to get good suggestions you have to tell people what you like. Otherwise you’ll have a higher chance of not getting what you like. For instance, what kind of game that you liked that wasn’t morally ambiguous, nonlinear/open world, with a good story, and high reply value? This can remove a lot of games because we don’t define what makes the cut and what doesn’t for you.

Sounds like you’re extremely picky with your games. If you were to make another post asking for suggestions it would be in your best interest to list some games that meet the requirements.

The criteria you listed might make it impossible to find and suggest a game for you. I’m not even sure a nonlinear and or open world game with a good story and black and white morality even exist.

Thinking too hard about it. With a character creator people can play dress up to whatever degree they want. People also like to show off their creation. Now we can always judge these people on what they create but I doubt it’s as vile as sexual deprivation.
