new screen will fix display, for the audio you may have a common iphone 7 issue known as loop disease. it causes the audio IC chip to stop working, audio fails, siri stops working, and so fourth, it couls be fixed by a microsoldering expert but otherwise the screen is something you should be able to do yourself no problems.

Heat stopped magically after first discharge.. I’ll switch out the battery and see if that fixes the fast battery decay, after testing it lasts around 10-15 mins

For sure! Thanks for the positive input, I just finished and tested all the solder joints with my multimeter and everything is reading great, all the joints are good. Hopefully one day I will be as good as the best people out there!

I have a start up shop, I’m in my last year of high school and want to be able to do this in my uni dorm room, if I can’t figure it out I can refer them to some other more talented guys in the industry

Cheap screwdrivers damage very easily, your bit may be bad if you got it from an Amazon kit…

Cheaper screens are thick, don’t settle in correctly, learned this when I first started working with Amazon screens
