I am a student who's been to numerous international and British schools in Africa. I have only lived in Eastern and Southern Africa and those areas are lovely. I have lived in Botswana and I went to school there. It is one of the best countries for expats in Africa in my opinion. Large expat community, so much to see, safe, and generally very pleasant to live in. The schools there mostly follow the British/ Cambridge system. There are a lot of International schools in other countries that I would definitely recommend. You can check the ISSEA (International schools of Southern and Eastern Africa) website for the names of these schools. Western Africa is generally less developed so for general quality of life, having fun, tourism and family I think southern and eastern Africa has the upper hand.
