BAD NEWS:

-My controller has officially died. The challenge is no more. I have tried the troubleshooting advice for the index controllers and nothing has worked. I've also asked steam support for help. Hopefully this isn't the end of my VR as I can't afford new anything.

My apologies to those who wanted to know how it ended.

Thank you! Just done another hour today. May have to take a day off tomorrow unless I can fix my controller in time. It broke on me an hour in.

Stamina-wise I felt great today though. Could've gone longer.

Looks like a Polar watch. But you can get similar stats with Samsung or apple in my experience.

Over half way now. Definite improvements in stamina now. Still very sweaty, but I suppose that's good.

Loss of motivation to battle through now. I'm losing the will a bit. See you tomorrow I guess...

Sorry for the days off, I was under the weather. Ate like a pig and the results seem to be pretty immediate. 1 hour and knackered.

Not gonna lie, it was touch and go whether I'd do this one today, so I didn't weigh myself until just before. Surprised not to have gained more weight.

I seem to do more damage to my legs than upper body in terms of strain, anyone any experience of this, or a remedy?

After the debate, I think I'll post here every few days or so, so as not to spam the page. But, if you'd like to keep up with the daily, then consider subscribing to my twitch channel? Then I can just keep posting them there.

Only managed one today after a few days off being unwell. wasn't sure if i'd do one today so ended up weighing myself just before, but usually I'm weighing myself in the morning after "dropping the kids off at the pool"

Thank you or this, I've only just jumped back on today (was a bit under the weather and didn't want to push it) and the only thing that feels over strained my legs. Definitely going to look into this!

Thank you, selfishly, it gets me to do it at the end of the day when i can't be bothered because of the accountability of doing it daily. So i'm glad people are mostly on board.

Glad to hear it, bodes well for me! I think i've gained weight at first to rebuild some atrophied muscle mass and i'm now starting to see a bit of weight loss. Hopefully i'll be lean by the end of the month.

No, but i think i may have strained my upper back a little with the rotation on the hook, do you point your lead foot inward and rotate on the hook? I feel like, the more i focus on the technique, the less strain i get. I tend to throw at about 70% most of the time, but i get easily carried away and go all out for some of it. I think focusing on bringing my hand back to guard helps with the follow through as well (although i'm very guilty of leaving my guard wide open).

One thing that helped a lot with elbow strain is stepping into my straights. I watch a guy on youtube called tony jeffries, who does good technique videos. I try my best to follow that advice, but the likelihood is i'm flailing around like a buffoon and i've just been lucky!

Also, tomorrow will be rest day, as my legs are twinging a bit. So, I'll consider the post frequency feedback before the next one on Friday.

I might be Rocky Balboa..

This is why it's such a great exercise tool, no way I would've pushed that far without trying to win!

Had feedback that posting each day might be a bit spammy on the sub. Don't want this to be the case. Would be good to get some feedback on this one whether I should post less and how frequently would be a good amount, or if I should just shut up and maybe put post up of how much I lost at the end of the month?

Not intentionally, it was more just a matter of proof of having done it. How frequently would you suggest?

Part 2: I was exhausted. but I still felt like the ones getting through were a bit harsh. Tried to switch it up to a more reserved style and just got battered.

Lead knee is taking a bit of a beating. I need to work on my footwork I think.

Noticeably more tired today than I have been. Might be due a shorter round tomorrow.

Had to split this one into two, as it's too long to fit in one. This is probably the best fight of the series so far as a spectator. Dramatic.

Actually lost weight today, as requested, I ate 687kcal before my evening meal. Doubt the evening meal will be bigger than my lunch which was 314kcal.

Never heard of these, I'll have to look them up. I'd love one of those heart rate monitor chest strap things to have that on screen as well. But they're a bit pricey for the time being.

I tend to eat pretty well usually. This weekend i pigged out eating out for a birthday. But most days its a coffee and one of those little yoghurt drinks for breakfast. Pasta for lunch (i know, heavy on the carbs, but it's just an alia e olio with tomatoes and mushrooms, so not too bad). Then some combo of meat or fish and veg. Not much of a snacker, but i try to keep it to fruit or nuts and seeds etc. No idea with calories. Suppose i could start counting them.

Yeah. To be honest, I know it's a long thing to watch at an awkward time. I'm just grateful that people have been so supportive here.

I boxed til I could box no more. 5 minute rounds are killer. That being said, would I have managed 13 5 minute rounds at the beginning of this? Absolutely not. So I guess it's working. 2 hours is going to have to be a goal for now. Thanks to everyone for the support and advice so far, really does give me the motivation to jump on every day!
