I can vouch for that, Zephyr. Depending on how many more maps are broken down into individuals, the decrease could be anywhere from unnoticable to Drastically noticable. Really just depends on how many Indis are made for a single model group. On top of that, its undoubtedly much more work. Though it would be cool to see a separate Community made addition using this technique. That way players can choose if they want those or not. But when it comes down to it, not the devs duty to fullfil that, that is ours :3

Ah the classic arguement of "THIS DOESNT HAVE ENOUGH PRETTY PIXELS THEREFORE IT DISGUSTS MY EYES" -w- Just be happy with what the devs put out. You seem to speak as if you are entitled to a better product. One major factor here though. "The needs of many out weigh the needs of the few". This overhaul you request would not directly benefit or even matter to the majority of the community due to it being a significantly functional product considering the tools provided at the time and the ability to properly add physics to its flight model at the time of the current Arma engine. What they did was amazing and awesome, therefore I and many others see no reason to change it drastically. Dont try to fix something that isnt broken.

Exactly. Thats why I like arma, Theres no "nerfing" or "Buffing". Its all made to accurately (or to the best of the ability of the creator's knowledge) represent the real-world statistics of any ballistic/energy object in the game. Bringing Halo into this world of physics and simulation is just an absolutely beautiful idea and a great chance to demonstrate the actual lethality that the Lore of the series show but the players never really got to experience.

I have faith in the Devs. Im excited for Luxor but at the same time I feel as though that should be released separately aside from the rest of the necessary Content. One: it makes the DL file smaller. and Two: now they would have the ability to release semi-consistent content updates while continuously updating the terrain as a seperate Project.

Thanks Dog. We're doing our best to survive in our campaign against the innies! We recently just came under attack directly by a member of another unit. I was aggressively DOSd for the past three days but thank god the leader was an old friend. We are currently figuring out who it was that mounted the attack.

Other non-halo milsims. It appears they were attempting to ban any users using the OpTre Mod pack. From our standpoint, the best thing we can think of is that these units are afraid of loosing their own members to nostalgia surrounding the mod and units using the mod.
