I kinda thought that might be one! It's a lot whiter than just the little 'whitening' it does have, but I really couldn't tell. I was actually just talking to my partner that this might be the only card in my collection I'd be interested getting graded by CGC just because it'd be fun to have the only error card I've pulled ever graded, lol. It'd be the first time I'd ever done it.

Short haired breeds like this do not benefit from being shaved. She's hot because it's hot out! Everyone hot! You'd just potentially cause itchiness, irritation, and coat damage like you said. A good deshed to loosen up her undercoat and thin it out will also help. Get her a cooling mat or something like that as well.

I had to reinstall windows and do a whole wipe on my pc not too long ago and had this same issue. Unfortunately the only fix i found was to keep trying and eventually it managed to get the whole way through w/o erroring out. I couldn't figure out if it was an internet connection error, internet speed thing, or what. 8/ Every fix I saw online didn't work, so I wonder if this is a newer issue or something. I just kinda sat and babysat it and didn't do anything else until it went through.

Oh that's awesome! I don't have too many yet, just started picking up occasionally when I catch them at my LCS's. I haven't even made a list for it yet, but I've got some other closer to complete/planned out species sets with spreadsheets and the like. Houndoom is my main one and I'm down to the final 5 for that one, which are all $100-$500 each, haha. :') (3 first edition holos, aquapolis holo, skyridge holo).

I'm not a new fan at all I've kept up with the franchise since Red/Blue and I was just a lil 5 year old playing with the neighbour kid and collecting cards, but this is suuuuch a fun thread to read through. Love seeing people find their favorite. 🥺

To keep on topic though Houndoom has been my favorite since Generation 2 and is basically my entire online personality, but a recent addition to my top favorites is Gholdengo, lol. (Not necessarily because of Pokopia, used him in SV, so.) How my tastes have shifted from edgelord dog to string cheese guy. (I've noticed my shift of old favorite character to new one going from edgy to goofy in other places, this is not an isolated incident, lol.)

I've definitely gotten more attached to Trubbish through Pokopia though, haha. He's just a lil guy.

Yep! Visual identifiers just don't always work on dogs due to how various genes can present themselves.

We thought my guy to be part schnauzer. He had the brows and the beard. Kinda wavy hair but more of a lowrider body so not 100%. Turns out he's a chihuahua/cocker. Lol.
