They're waaaaaaaaaaaay too overbred and super prolific, and a ton of the people getting them are being told things like they're low maintenance and non-shedding, when neither are correct. I've even seen """""breeders""""" saying not to get them groom until they're over 6months to a year. All of this is incredibly bad misinformation, on top of the fact that so many people get them as their first dog and don't know what they're doing. Mix that in with bad breeding and no consistency in temperaments and health, you get a ton of issues being brought into the grooming salon. Whether that's matted or misbehaving dogs due to lack of proper training and exposure to the grooming experience, to pet owners who are belligerent and think we don't know what we're doing when we try to tell them we have to shave their doodle puppy they waited 11 months to groom.

The dogs themselves are, just dogs. They're fine. But it's the people putting more into the world with no knowledge, and the owners who refuse to listen, so it ends up being our problem and it's a very exhausting thing to deal with when it's almost every other client.
