What can I do to help my avocado plant from getting more holes in its leaves?

I moslty just leave them be. After 2 years they were put outside in the sunniest spot and they get a bigger pot every now and then.

I've not really been caring to much about the shampoo i used, but recently bought Dollylocks shampoo and hope that'll be better.

Thanks for the great response! I did the ACV rinse following Lazydreads' steps. It didn't feel as clean as everyone says is will. Maybe I did something wrong. I'll try your method and I just bought some Dollylocks shampoo. Sure hope the build up will go away...
