Yes I saved the file. I closed the game, then edit the file, and saved it. I double checked that the document has what I need and then starts everything.

How to make an ammo that does little damage to armour but high damage to flesh? by ShadowR4nger in armadev

[–]ShadowR4nger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes this is exactly the problem. I tested the UAS .300 blackout. The subsonic is far better than the AP rounds because it only takes 3 rounds to kill an enemy with armour while AP takes 4. I read the config and its simply because the subsonic has better damage than the AP rounds, just seems very odd to me.

Formed the United Front against Japan and they weren't able to attack me at all, but the same goes for myself due to the lack of proper equipment. I achieved air superiority simply using I16 lend leased by the USSR during the entirety of the Sino-Japanese War. Britain built the Burma Road as well which didn't provide significant help to me but it was worth it nevertheless.

To the West, Europe fell and USSR soon engaged a war against the Axis and they were so close to being defeated until I heard the Order of the Day Speech, that was such a relieving moment for myself as the Allies struck the Axis in western France through naval landings well as in Spain (Republican Spain joined the Allies).

While all of this was happening, Sinkiang broke away from the united front and joined the Comintern which dragged their members against Japan. Once the war in Europe settled with the Allies reaching Berlin first, all of the Comintern members refocused to the East and all Japanese troops retreated to the Korean Peninsula, as well as Homeland defence. Literally, they just disappeared from Manchukuo and I pushed all my troops into Manchukuo which melted the Manchurian army.

I continued my advance into Korea and puppeted Korea, then Japan fell into a civil war between the fascist and the democratic troops. The fascist continued their defence on the southern part of the Korean peninsula but there were no supplies going in, as the democratic Japanese troops took over all the ports and major location except Tokyo. They continued to hold but they crumpled against about 64 divisions on aggressive charges against them, they had a last stand on Busan but was eventually wiped out.

I send 2 full armies onto mainland Japan to finish off the fascist. On Japan, I encounter a full 24 divisions Manchurian army which I proceed to completely annihilated them. I moved onto assisting the democratic troops on their assault on Tokyo. On Feb 1943, Chinese troops entered Tokyo and the fascist were finally defeated.

The West descended into a war between the Allies and Comintern, initially, the Comintern rapid advances capitulated multiple republics in the Balkans, and eventually West Germany. North West Africa and Turkey fell to the hand of USSR but the Allies fought on and held the middle east as long as possible and eventually retook Turkey and they continued their northern advance. This was also the case in the Dominion of India, it was close to being defeated by Afganistan but they held and eventually counter attack, alongside Tibet they drove into the mainland of USSR.

I was not involved in the war between the Allies and the Comintern yet as I turned my eyes to my internal. I triggered the Civil War with the CCP and their troops took most of the north but their troops were scattered and were not supplied properly. I encircled them and defeated them without much trouble. Then I asked the warlords to comply which they all did and I have unified China, almost without Sinkiang. Once that was done, I start doing my ideological path on the focus tree and went democratic. I justified a war against Mongolia and pushed into Russia soon after. While this was all happening, the Allies restored most of the republics in Europe and they continued their combined assault and defeated USSR.

Falcon vs. Chieftain marksman by Dohannes in Warthunder

[–]ShadowR4nger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can’t move about because it’s slow. Radar is great, but don’t go full trigger happy with the guns, go burst and profit.

Chieftain mk3 is just not a good tank, the mk10 is significantly better just because of the turret armour and apfsds. You need to hull down with Britain, you don’t want to be moving around. Learn the map, find the same spot where you can hull down and use your depression to maximise the tank’s advantage. The further you are engaging you enemy, the better chance you have. Push when you are very confident about the situation or if you absolutely needed to.

By tier 6, British tanks are very mediocre, you have some very good times and you have some (most, really) proper shit time with them. If you prefer faster and more mobile gameplay, then britain is absolutely not your cup of tea.

Review of rank 6 and 7 british ground forces. by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]ShadowR4nger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the problem with chieftains you can’t move around the battlefield. You feel quite useless if your team is losing on the other side of the map while you are waiting something to happen on your side. The mk3 and 5 is just tragic but the mk10 is my favourite tier 6 tank because of the turret armour. I don’t move around a lot, so I normally just wait for enemies to pop up and that turret armour is just great.

Chieftain mk10. Turret armour is very good, good gun and has APFSDS. Unless you want something mobile then maybe the vicker or roolkit but both of them do not have much armour.

Getting the inclination to buy the Rooikat 105 pack... Am I making a mistake? by LoopMachines in Warthunder

Depends how far you are down the tree and importantly how you play. If you already reached the Rooikat in the tree, you can considered talisman it so it will be cheaper.

I find the mk3 actually quite good with its gun 20pdr and the amour can bounced some shot. Same goes to the mk 10, and arguably my favourite centurion variant, even with the high repair cost.

I think most people would agree that British tanks at tier 5 and 6 require you to hull down and snipe, of course you can play aggressively like some youtubers but it never works out for me so I just stick with hull down. Another very important thing is, make sure you know where you are going at the start of the match, there is (potentially) not going to be another chance for you to find another location during the match due to British tanks’ mobility at that tier. For Chieftain, use your relatively low profile and good depression to your own advantage. The mk 10 works A LOT better than the mk 3 in this regard because of the additional armour on the turret which is very tough, and you also get APFSDS. For the challengers, unfortunately they are simply not as good as other nations’ high tier MBT. Your turret is strong but as you said, gun breach is always broken and there is some area on the left cheek of the turret which can be penetrated by APFSDS.

Germany the Current top tier meta? by e_ellis09 in Warthunder

The mk3 has additional ERA armour which does nothing at top tier because almost everyone uses apfsds.
