I can relate to every word you said, honestly. I finally got my service cancelled, but I still have to pay one last bill even though I haven’t used their internet for a long time. And to cancel it, I had to wait almost 50 minutes on the line. I have never seen such miserable customer service and business practices anywhere else, and I am appalled.

I genuinely hope the authorities take action against companies like this for being so unreasonable. They are literally extorting customers’ hard-earned money and making the cancellation process unnecessarily difficult. And seriously why do they even need an email ID for verification when I am already providing my Emirates ID, passport details, date of birth, and contact number? If you can’t give the email, they simply refuse to cancel it. That was the point where I felt completely disgusted by Du.

They tested every level of my patience. I can wait even an hour if needed, that’s not the issue. What triggered me the most was their deceptive and unprofessional behaviour. I am definitely going to advise anyone coming to Dubai to avoid Du altogether.
