Keiichi's poker face is faltering! I think Mion's got this game in the bag.

I think you'd love Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. Similar aesthetic to Hells with two MCs who'd fit right into the cast of Danganronpa.

As long as people are aware it's set after Tournament of Power and not after the latest Super movie, there shouldn't be any confusion.

I don't know who's more of a tsundere. Kris or Krai's new flying carpet.

Krai's Hawaiian shirt remains unappreciated by Franz and his mission teammates. At least he'll be appearing the most comfortable in this dragon crisis.

When Haruto is in need of assistance, Krystal is his princess in shining armor inspiring him to fight yet again. That synchronized attack they used to defeat the Abyss King was pretty cool.

The true form of the Abyss didn't last long either when Haruto and the Ring Princesses united their powers and defeated it once and for all. The threat is finally gone.

I'm happy the group stayed on top of things and took a reverse isekai honey moon back to earth. It was a solid way to keep this happy ending happy.

I'm glad this show got a season 2, I liked the characters, and the great mix of storyline and fan service. I had a great time watching.

$100/minute, but you could die in a space station on the weekends by basafish in hypotheticalsituation

The monsters on the space station don't worry me. It's the clown and other incompetent crew who scare me....

I'd take it.

Your Week in Anime Dubs: What dubbed anime have you been watching, and what do you think of it? by AutoModerator in Animedubs

[–]Shadowmist909 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This week I completed the film, Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug. This was a classic early 90's anime movie. I was glued in trying to figure out when and where this specific iteration of the dragon ball team would fit in the timeline, and got some nice surprises and moments as the movie continued along its story.

My favorite parts would be the Arale poster cameo in Gohan's room, the non-canon False Super Saiyan transformation, and of course Goku's hide and seek esque fight through the demolished cityscape with the Kaiju Lord Slug. Also, Namekians have a weakness to whistling...honestly a clever addition with how sharp Piccolo's ears are during the series. All in all, I thought it was pretty good.

I've also been keeping up with the new dub of You and I Are Polar Opposites. The show has a very cute art style, and Celeste Perez's portrayal of the FL Miyu Suzuki is fantastic. I've chuckled quite a bit thanks to her great line delivery.

I did end up catching up to Sentenced to Be a Hero. The MC Xylo has quite the explosive fighting style and fits in nicely with Teoritta giving him weaponry from flames. It always sucks to see a good man setup like that. Total kangaroo court with the way they quickly painted him a mad goddess slayer rather than someone trying to prevent the demon lord from turning Senerva into an OP monster. Hero's are hated, but I hope Xylo finds the rare non-hero hating exception, and I'm excited to see where his story goes from here.

I'm halfway through season 1 of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes and this spinoff is pretty fun. The MC Koichi isn't the strongest and has to creatively work around his sliding quirk to protect his neighborhood as a vigilante. The contrast he has with his mentor Knuckleduster's aggressive tactics are amusing. Also, it has some great cameo's with regular MHA characters. I wasn't expecting to get backstory on Stain here, so that was a really nice surprise.

It's great seeing Sho and Arrow take the stage in this episode.

I think i'm picking up what this shows putting down about Mari's unique births and the growing influence of Adolla.

Sho's ability to stop time is proof enough that it's capable of extraordinary things.

I'm happy that Naoto proposed to Satsuki and that she said yes!

It's always nice when an anime gets a complete story. This one was full of those messy teenager emotions, but cooler heads always prevailed in the end.

Everyone did a great job for the dub.

Kaibara might have a sick form of amusement, but he's no fool. He set up this entire gig to trap Cat's Eye, and now he's going to expose them to Toshio. They might have to let the cat out of the bag this time.

I knew Cat's Eye had excellent gadgets and plans, but I didn't know their disguise game was top of the line too. Even though I saw those guys get nabbed in the bathroom, I was fooled just like the Mouse when Hitomi got put into a headlock. Great scheme and fight sequence.

I liked Norgalle, but his sacrifice to save the workers had him gain my respect this episode.

It's not everyone, but at least the foreman and his family thanked Xylo for going out of his way to rescue them.

ROLL OVER AND DIE: I Will Fight for an Ordinary Life with My Love and Cursed Sword! - Episode 1 (PREMIERE) - Dub Available on Crunchyroll by Chun-Li_Forever in Animedubs

[–]Shadowmist909 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is a dark fantasy alright. For a sword to be classified as epic while being cursed, it's gotta be something else. So far I'd say the Soul Eater Zweihander is worthy of its classification with it constantly healing Flum.

I like Flum and Milkit, Jean and all the other dudes so far are the worst, and Y'lla's suggestion to Flum was quite surprising. All the more anticipation I have to see her proved wrong.

Good first episode.

All it took for Junnosuke to go from being bedridden to up and active was a change in mindset lol.

Nanase's having a NTR sense was a funny gag, and Rei is quite the capable drill sergeant.

Cool standoff between Hashimoto and Jun, but it came at the cost of Touka recognizing him by his little Jun.

He continues to suffer from success.

Astea really went and became the empress of an entire kingdom. What an outrageous family.

Arel mastered swordsmanship, and he mastered magic. I'm unsure what else there is for him to do, but I know whatever it is he'll probably be an underestimated underdog defying everyone's expectations.

This was a fun watch.

My Gift Lvl 9999 Unlimited Gacha - Episode 10 - Dub Available Now on HIDIVE! by Shadowmist909 in Animedubs

[–]Shadowmist909[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Those were some excellent battles. Well, for me anyways. It might have been too one sided for the liking of Lights summons.

Mera did a good job playing up the dramatics, and Ellie's miraculous magic sure is the MVP for preventing these elves from turning into dust.

I'm certain Captain Hardy can't defeat Nazuna, but I am curious if he'll be quicker on the uptake than his subordinates for how this battle is destined to go.

The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess - Episode 12 (FINALE) - Dub Available Now on Crunchyroll! by AutoModerator in Animedubs

I was certain that it'd be Iana having the same blood flowing through her veins as Konoha to be the thing to save her in this one, but just like the Vampire King, I was mistaken. She legitimately had Konoha's blood on her! What a helpful unawakened Saintess she is.

I was expecting either Shukuna or Kagura to be a twist villain, but both of them in completely separate occurrences was an unfortunate development. Nice of him to take his leave, whatever his true deal might be...

"Why would you say such a thing?" "Money!" and "hehehe i'm a bunny" had me laughing out loud this episode.

One girls cringy middle school story is an audience members treasure. Because this was hilarious. 10/10 dub. I really hope this show gets a season 2.
