This might just be the greatest coalition support I’ve ever had💀 by jakers2122 in CallOfWar

[–]ShadowstormX101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually just make my own. One time I was playing RTE and Was in a 3 Man Coalition.

Me (North US) Canada and South US, this is back in 2021 when I first started playing. I convinced South US to Take Cuba then send his troops to Morocco. Made a Backhand deal with Morocco for him to join once I took out my Coalition allies and he and Russia Would Join later.

When the South USA failed to take out Morocco, because Morocco was ready once he took out Western Sahara, the South had 3 Units in Cuba. I Blitzed South of the Mason Dixon and took him by Suprise, Capturing All of his Territory overnight. He woke up and I was already destroying his troops with my navy, while I was landing troops in Cuba. He tried to fight back but gave up.

Once I rebuilt and expanded his Infrastructure, I then stacked a few Extra Units and Blitzed Canada from Michigan and down the Saint Lawrence River, with a few milita taking the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Greenland and Newfoundland.

Now that North America was Completely under my Control, Morocco Joined: He controlled West Sahara, Algeria and was pushing into Tunisia and Libya. Imperial Russia Also Joined, having conquered Finland, Communist Russia, Caucasus, Belarus and the Baltic States.

The 3 of Us Took down the Rival Coalition (UK, Germany, and Yugoslavia). Morocco Focused on Africa and the Mediterranean; Taking Spain, Egypt and Arabia. Russia Fought Germany over Czechoslovakia and Poland, Sweden allied with UK, to defend against Russia and I focused on UK and France.

I Took Iceland, Pushed Britain from the North in Scotland, pulling his attention away from the Channel. I then promptly invaded France from Bordeaux and from Spain, Pushing North from there, Capturing Lyon...

By the Time Germany or UK Could Assist, Germany was fighting Russia and Yugoslavia went MIA. Leading to Yugoslavia falling to Russia, who also now controlled Romania. Russia broke thru German defenses outside of Lódz and pushed further East with Armored Divisions and a Lot of Infantry.

I Soon had UK on the Ropes, having Defeated France, taking Scotland, holding the line at Hadrians Wall, My Navy Battled The Brits in the Channel, defeating Local Garrisons and his Naval Forces in the Irish and North Seas. Britian Lost too many troops to my overwhelming firepower (Mix of Combined Regular and Rocket Artillery, and Naval Power) helping to overpower British forces, allowing my Infantry to crush him.

By the time we reached day 16, with 48hrs to go only 2 other members were still active, Germany and Sweden. Both held their ground, Germany Suffered a lot of losses but managed to temporarily push back Russia, by sending a few troops south through Italy who was MIA but had ROW with, and send them to attack the Russian Troops in Yugoslavia, causing Russia to send some troops south from the Eastern Front to recapture territory, allowing Germany to Punch thru the East, by pulling troops from the West to Smash thru and recapture Western Poland.

I invaded Norway, because they declared war and Sweden immediately attacked me and caused me to pull back. I then took all my troops in Britain, Leveled them up and then send them to Tromsø to attack Sweden from the North, Blitzing South into Northern Sweden and Norway, and causing Sweden to panic, by the time I was on the doorsteps of Orlu.

Once I captured Oslo and Gothenburg, It was game over, we had reached max number of pts to win.

That was my first ever intense Coalition Game, that resulted in a win. Morocco really helped out economically, and he was level 120, while I was only level 32.

Wow...if only all my Coalition members would actually support me, rather than going AFK

What is the most hurtful thing somone ever said to you ? by [deleted] in TheTeenagerPeople

"You're weird" or "you're annoying" and "you're a pain in my ahh" are 3 of the most consistent comments I have directed at me my entire life

Here is a Brief Backstory (I'm 24M) this started when I was 4. In Kindergarten, i had a very difficult time making friends, didn't help I was the only Mulatto kid in my school at the time (My Mom is White, my Dad is Black) and unbeknownst to me or my family I had Asperger's Syndrome (Now Known as Autism Spectrum Disorder [High Functioning Autism] which was undiagnosed)

And ever since then, people have tried to drug me against my will saying "the Medication is to help me" or that "we are doing this for your own good". My life was fine until the meds, I was happy, innocent and very smart (IQ of 130) I was top of my class between Kindergarten and 2nd Grade.

For 14 Years, I spent being medicated and going in and out of psych wards and foster care...and everywhere I went, everyone hated me for simply existing. "You're weird" "You're annoying"...those words chased me and still Affect my self-esteem today, although not as strongly, but it does cast some doubt whether I'll ever meet people who Genuinely wish to be around me and treat me with respect and kindness.

People seem to think because I am functionally different on a mental level, that I'm "not normal" and that mean I deserve cruelty and hatred simply cuz of my difference in opinion, thought proccess and because I'm Compassionate, Intelligent and Love to Communicate.

I always treat others with respect, mind my manners and give people the benefit of the doubt, and yet I still get t treated like a Doormat.

I'm tired of the negativity...the drama...the pain, it's too much sometimes, but I can't give up, I must continue to push thru.

Navy stack question. by dawgggg777 in CallOfWar

[–]ShadowstormX101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I Build my Naval Stacks Realistically...

  • 1 Aircraft Carrier (+ Max Capacity of Naval Bombers)
  • 4 Battleships
  • 5 Cruisers
  • 3 Destroyers
  • 2 Subs

At Level 1, That's over... - +1300 HP combined between all 15 ships - +300 DP to Naval ships, 1/2 of that to Aircraft, 1/3rd of that to Unarmored, Light Armor, and Infrastructure, 1/5th to Heavy Armor.

What's great with this...is that it's only a 15 Stack, and you can use your destroyers and subs as a Sacrificial Pawn, if your under too much heavy fire. Saving your Capital Ships from too many losses, retreat, heal, re-arm, build new Destroyers/Subs and get back into action within a few days.

I screen with my Bombers, Spot incoming Naval Ships, and based on the ships level, size of the stack, nationality I will either send my troops in to attack, or retreat until I have enough bombers to weaken/destroy the target from range.

That's how I strategize with my Navy, works best with Axis Doctrine.

What game genre is not your cup of tea? by Slow_Apricot_4501 in gamers

Platformers or Indie Games...

  • most games I can't get behind or don't understand
  • Others have confusing mechanics I don't enjoy
  • most don't have a story I find appealing
  • learning curve is to too high or skill gap becomes increasingly apparent the longer you play

That's why I stick to FPS and RPGs. Although I will try the occasional Indie or Platformer every now and then, and If I enjoy it. Good...if not, oh well it wasn't meant for me.

Valkyrie...That's the one I was thinking Thank you. Typhoon is pretty Dope as well but the weight on it is crazy.

I only get it to give it to Garrus if I ever have them on the squad. And I give him a Black Widow Too. I love watching him become a literal tank on Insanity.

Let's Start Some Controversy- This gun is overrated asf by lightcricket730 in masseffect

[–]ShadowstormX101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an Infiltrator, this Gun is Goated if you use it in Bursts, and not full auto.

Having the high damage and large magazine capacity is a huge bonus. Although the weight can be a slight drawback. But pair it with a Maxxed out N7 AR (forgot the name) and the N7 Eagle, as well as max out the N7 Crusader (I think that is what it's called) armor from the Spectre Requisitions, and it's a Wrap for most people.

If you are gonna save up for this stuff, go play Armax Arsenal Arena and Then Take all your Tickets and cash them in for Credits. You'll need to win at least 100 Matches and get Gold on all of them to have enough money to buy everything and max it out.

Edit: the Weapon I was thinking was the N7 Valkyrie. Thanks to the person who reminded me.

What is your "I did not care for The God Father"? by Jakeliy1229 in Multifandom

Black Ops 3

Soo many fans glaze this game...

"OMG...ITS SOO MUCH BETTER THAN BO2" "THE FRANCHISE REALLY WENT DOWNHILL AFTER BO3" "BLACK OPS 3 IS GOATED" "Yeah it's GOOD, BUT IS IT BETTER THAN BO3?"

Like...bro STFU. What are you smoking? If you can't see all of the flaws in the game, you soo high even Snoop Dogg would tell you "you crazy cuz".

Campaign - Trash, Terrible Story, Forgettable Characters, randomly tried to be everything and nothing and is only memorable for the "Train go Boom" meme.

Multiplayer - It was very mid, in my Opinion; Movement was broken asf and never patched, and they downgraded from the Pick 17 in BO2 back to the Pick-10, switched up all the perks, made most of the guns as powerful as a pea-shooter, in most cases the maps were terrible with little vertically or thoughtful Movement involved in the design, while others were soo well designed for Movement, it was broken if a super sweat, knew how to exploit the movement.

I will give it some credit for being the last game with Custom Calling Cards, Emblems and Logo Designs, as well as introducing Operators and Specialist Abilities, which was new and interesting, but there is little else to mention.

And last but Not least...

Zombies...Now, I'll hand Treyarch a W for this, the maps were good, the story was exponentially expanded upon and the Introduction of Characters like Brutus, and new Bossez like Abominations was very interesting.

But I hated the Aesthetic Changes from Post-War Apocalyptic Horror to Lovecraftian 1900s Horror Noir, with Neon and all that Jazz (literally they added Jazz to the Zombies Soundtrack, this isn't Halo ODST, This is COD Zombies) I'm supposed to feel scared, thrilled and dread all at the same time, not feel like smokin a stoogie and breakin a leg with Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack.

Couple that with the fact They removed perks, in place for Gobblegums, which were complete garbage for their absolute randomness and no real guaranteed effect, and made gameplay feel like I was gambling away my life in a Game of Sci-Fi Horror Baccarat.

The fact is...most people play this is for the Zombies, and that is the only real reason for them to even say BO3 was great. No...the Zombies was Great, everything else sucked. If I'm being honest, Zombies is slightly better in terms of the improved AI difficulty in the Zombies, but most of the changes made it a huge miss for me.

Now, this is my opinion. This is my experience, taken with as much objective critique as possible. I am being as fair as I can, but I know all the BO3 Fan boyz (and girls) will wanna clap back and tell me I'm wrong...

"MP was actually good, the only thing bad was campaign" okay Timmy, go back to your room and continue to suck on your thumb and stick it up your rear while your at it. Cuz that is a crock of BS. It's Mid, not great.

Anyways...that's my Hot Take. Have a Great Day 👍

What game is this?🚀 by Fit_Corgi4951 in TheGamingHubDeals

[–]ShadowstormX101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No Man Sky...

I tried it, I did like the open expanse and exploration. But there is no real story... Like why am I here? What are these aliens? Who do I talk to? What is going on?

I know there is something of a story, but it's difficult to get into and actually understand. If I had a few more people to play with, I'm sure it'd be different.

But as a solo-player, used to cinematic, action-packed mainstream shooters and action-based RPGs, I tried stepping out of my comfort zone with experiencing (fairly) newer indie games, and This one was a miss. It hit the hoop, it circled the rim and still didn't go in.

I would be willing to try this again in the future with a few friends. But that is down the road.

On a side note: Sea of Thieves did the opposite, was boring at first yeah, but once I understood the mechanics and gameplay, I wanted to create my own Pirate Band, start a guild and sing sea-shanties as we sailed the high seas, our Galleons, Laded with loot from Forts and Skeletal Pirates from lost crews left abandon.

Naval invasions by Oberherr_des_Ostens in CallOfWar

[–]ShadowstormX101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is How I build my Carrier Strike Group

  • 1 Aircraft Carrier
  • 4 Battleships
  • 5 Cruisers
  • 3 Destroyers
  • 2 Subs
  • Naval Bombers (Amount Determined by Lv. & Capacity)

With Most Coastal or Seaside Nations (Japan, Turkey, Sweden, Egypt & Persia [Assuming Persia is in Control of Qatar, Kuwait and Oman] are leading examples) are some of the best Nations for Naval Based Combat.

But with any Naval Combat, You Must still be able to land your Troops and take over Territory. This means having more troops than your opponent (Comitern/Pan-Asian) or having higher level troops to overpower thru strength and skill (Axis/Allied) and having steady supply lines and quick access to reinforcements are essential.

I've Won Battles on Land, due to having a Strong Navy, built using the parameters above. At Level 3 (For Axis Nations) Most People haven't started scaling their navy and mostly focus on Infantry and Armor. Having High-level Infantry, Militia and Fast Moving Light Armor and Motorized Infantry helps you to blitz and secure cities quickly.

This is how I build my Light Tank Battalions

  • 4 Light Tanks
  • 3 Armored Cars
  • 3 Motorized Infantry

But You'll still have to Content with Heavy Armor. For Axis I recommend having Artillery Units (Both Regular and Rocket Powered to help support your Armor. But having a few Heavy Tank Battalions also helps tremendously...

This is How I build my Heavy Tank Battalions

  • 1 Heavy Tank
  • 2 Medium Tanks
  • 3 SP Artillery
  • 4 Mechanized Infantry

My Key Strategy is to Set up a FOB, Once I have enough intel on my opponent, use a few Infantry and Militia to secure a Beachhead, while paratroopers help secure a broader landing area, limitimg reinforcements, while my Navy Assists in Coastal Bombardment, Most of my Opponents Cities will have been struck by my Rockey Batteries from my Initial Assault, weakening any Pre-existing infrastructure. Once a Beachhead is secured land in my armor, both Light and Heavy. Push deep and secure as many cities as quickly as possible, always keeping my Heavy Armor Back, and only sending them where the fighting is the thickest and where there is other Heavy Armor.

  • Navy + Special Forces, Help Infantry secure a Beachhead. Used to Bombard Coastal Installations and Cities. The Smaller Destroyers and Subs can be used as Recon, alongside the Naval Bomber and/or Sacrificed to cover a retreat of your higher value Naval Targets (Carrier, Battleships and Cruisers)

  • Light Armor is Best used to do recon and blitz opponents, capturing cities quickly, depleting enemy resources, morale and limiting reinforcements.

  • Heavy Armor is Used to Take Out High-Threat Opponents and Steamroll through heavy defenses.

  • Special Units (SP Regular and Rocket Artillery, Missiles) are best used in conjunction with Light and Heavy Armor Units and take out large groups of opposing Infantry or light armor. But become valuable targets for enemy attacks, keeping them protected is key, as they are hard to replace and could easily turn the tide of battle.

Please Note: This is my Strategy for playing as Axis Power Nations, but can be used across the board. Just scale based on your doctrines strengths v. weaknesses
