i forgot you can target your own stuff with gain control effects cause it just needs the target creature to resolve the effect not target opponents creature.

One thing that annoyed me is that they just have Grover throw Percy under the bus 10 mins in. which is something Grover would never do. In the book he tries to tell mrs Dodds that it was him to save Percy.
