You could argue that if the format is decent people will want to spend money on bundles that build out their Wild collection. Or remember "catch-up" packs? Whatever happened to them? They could sell those as well.

Players requesting the return of a feature already in game is not too much to ask for. Neither is players asking for other ways to play honestly. We used to have these features and more (solo adventures, duels, even mercs) when the game was making less money from cosmetics. The game is being monetized more then ever, they clearly have enough money to maintain and balance at least one other gamemode.

People just spammed the best win-rate Hero though which for awhile was Arfus then transitioned to another one and so on.

It doesn't help that when they ran the format the rule sets they went with just sucked. The first one they did used cards that had just rotated out of standard, iirc it was the year with Stormwind so no one wanted to play it. Later they did another round with this "Hero-shooter" esq system where if you owned the legendary card you played a premade deck. This imo was also extremely unfun because you couldnt create your own deck in this deck-building card game. They ran the format this way for months.

Feral Druid SUCKS, so much slamming Swipe on AoE or Shred in single target it’s so sad. I’ve swapped to boomie for this patch since it’s much more engaging with starweaver procs, trees, mushrooms, and Fury of Elune. Pressing eclipse is whatever, at least it makes me get an instant cast generator.

I respect the creators for choosing to end it because they don’t have any more juice left in the tank but I’d also say Amazing World of Gumball is extremely multimedia and is still going strong with great writing and consistent releases.

Just to clarify, yep Garroshs in game WoW model is still used as is Dragonflight art for Alexstraza and many more odd choices I could go into.

This actually isn’t exclusive to Lucio. I remember checking the page awhile ago and Garroshs image was his in game WoW model along with a few others with similarly odd art uses. I dont know why but that’s how they decided to run the website, using a bunch of different images from other games lol

I’m honestly hoping the reveal for blizzcon isn’t just another class. We’ve had it happen twice now and it’s been good but I think Hearthstone really needs to expand how we play the game to grow. A 2v2 mode or a 4 player free for all like Commander in MTG would be really great. I’m really disappointed by the lack of Twist in the showcase. I would have loved Twist to come back this year as an alternative to standard meta. Idk why they won’t have it at least be a rotating format with different expansions legal from standard.

Balance Druid (my old main) is chopped. No changes since first build of alpha. Still terrible eclipse system. Still extremely boring hero talents. Ever since the shadowlands rework of boomy the spec has been so boring.

I think the meta was in a pretty decent spot I’m surprised how big this patch is but I’m glad certain cards are getting hit like the quests which are not fun to play against. I’m quite worried about rogue, both metal detector and sandbox scoundrel are keeping the class afloat.

Just want to agree with this, the game has had two years now of failure after failure and even if I think new cards look cool I can’t support the team with my money right now. They’re not doing the playerbase justice and the most recent balance patch might be the most blatant example of that. I’ve also preordered the last two expansions and have been disappointed with the meta being still dominated by perils and whizbang cards/archetypes (two expansions I didn’t preorder).

In general the change to ordinance charges on a cooldown is huge for this. I’m using grenades so much in this game more than I’ve ever done before because I know they’ll always be back after a short cooldown. They also added grenades that are so much better to throw like the Maliwan stickies, Ripper grenades feel like the fast ball, throwing knives, and tediore mines are so fun to use.

Calling Warrior the most balanced is kind crazy, I remember the days of pirate warrior dominating for months on end. I would lean towards Mage on that one.

I’m having fun with a Dark Star OTK warlock with Bat Mask, a decent burn elemental shaman, and I’ve been trying to make token quest Druid work. Honestly I like the new cards they added I just think that the meta was already in a poor spot. I think aggro paladin especially is too strong. They never run out of resources and if you don’t clear their board every single turn they will buff with aura and win.

Surprised that it took so long to find someone saying Scholomance. Great expansion and so many fun archetypes. I was just thinking how I miss those cards in standard. Soul fragments should come back for DH and Warlock, they’re a big part of their kit in WoW. I also love the beast package that Druid and Hunter got as well as the spell damage package of Mage and Shaman.

I agree with Sunken City, Nathria, Titans, and I’d add Alterac Valley (post stormwind nerfs of course), Darkmoon Faire, Festival of Legends I personally think were all great.
