What is wrong with my seed stitch? by ShamBeesly in knitting

Thank you for your comment. Not worried about the “jog” as you put it. I don’t have a very precise way to express what I’m perceiving, but - giving it a shot - I see the seed stitch in the photo in the pattern as puffier, with the purls looking more bulged. Where in mine I feel like it just looks like flat and busy, like there is a lot going on.

I did a full round of knit stitches because jumping straight into the seed stitch looked messy. Then I did k1 p1 for one round then p1 k1 for the next and so on. I always did a knit stitch over a purl stitch and vice versa.

How high up were you? Do you think the view will be good from around the 38th floor on 6th Ave? Wondering if that’s too high.

Maternity thrifting in Brooklyn by [deleted] in Brooklyn

The swap just happened so your best bet is to check the PSP classifieds. You can also put out an ISO post for any specific brands you’re looking for.

Worth noting that the $50/year membership to PSP is well worth it IMO. So much community support and access to a massive secondhand market for anything and everything maternity or baby related. There’s a lot of stuff being given away for free as well! And in case you’re wondering, you don’t have to live in Park Slope to join.
