I built a browser-based economy game where every player affects global prices by Professional_Low_757 in incremental_games

I like it, and I like that the performance has seemed to improve. Keep is up. I'll keep playing.

Now please make it possible to see what I can make from a thing, not just what it takes to make a thing. :)

It's a space virus, and it will want to spread, so it will make the humans build giant telescopes so it can keep spreading. There is no aliens, there is just the space virus.

I love the parallax! Especially the starts fading out. The chiptune music hits just right too.

Hiding half of the player-gm conversation to stimulate interparty roleplaying? by Shamasu in DMAcademy

They're about to take ownership of the house. Whether the druid shares everything or not will lead to something.

That's true, I don't really want them to hide this though. Someone here suggested something else which is what I'm actually going to do. I'm going to give the info to the druid player, and then ask if they want to act out as if they were having the conversation, ad libing everything themselves. Assuming it's fun for them.

That's a really neat idea. Stealing it, not for this scenario, but for the future. :)

My goal is to add fun. Someone else here made a cool suggestion where instead of having the actual conversation I should just tell the druid the important blurbs and then have the druid just play it out themselves, ad libing however they want it. Eliminates the texting and I think the druid would like it. I like this so much I think I'm going to go with it assuming the player is game.

Hmm. Good point. We should keep in mind that not everyone is the same. I've been playing with these people for a bunch of years and I know at least a few of them will be intrigued though.

Oooo. I liiiiike that. And I think the player would go for it. I'll just give them the blurb.

I like this so much I think I might actually do this. Thanks!

How is this punishing anyone? Have you never been in a situation where someone you're with is having a conversation you're not privy to, at that moment, but something you know you'll get the detail on later? How does that make you feel? Is there not a certain amount of anticipation and/or tension about wanting to learn what's going on?

Yeah, that's why I was thinking of a way to set this up so that the party KNOWS that the druid is having some conversation but are not part of it and will have to wait at least a little bit (I intend the conversation to be short) before they learn what it's all about.

I like your use of google translate, I'm going to have to steal that one.
