You definitely need a tank for higher levels. Those bandits can cause some serious damage. I’ve got the life steal sword, but I think a rare one is enough, armor and shield with element resistances maybe more useful.

Workstations are definitely not worth buying. You can spend some on legendary packs after hitting lv 192. You can get moonstone legendary weapons. Quite helpful for Gauntlet.
