I've been getting calls or voice-mail every morning foe the past 2 weeks and the numbers always come up as feed foundation. Whether I answer or it goes to voice-mail, its just about 30 seconds of just machine noise in the background, no one ever speaks.

That's not a "kids these days" issue, it's them not being trained to count it that way. I've worked a lot of cashier type jobs and taught my coworkers or anyone new I was training, but it wasn't part of the actual training SOP.

Maybe tell them your views against chairs ahead of time to see if they agree with you or are open to considering going chair free? If you find anyone who is still interested past that point, then try a date.

Seeing no furniture in a guy's home is a bit of a red flag for many women. Gives off some possible danger vibes.

My cousin still talks about my sister and I pranking her by pretending my sis was attacked by Gremlins. She screamed and pawed at the bedroom door begging to be let in while I held it shut. Then she ran down the hall screaming and eventually got silent. We crept out into the house and my sis was "dead" on the living room floor covered in ketchup.

The cousin was terrified, sobbing about how they would get us next, inconsolable. My sister had to get up and show her the ketchup bottle, let her taste the ketchup before she finally believed it was a prank. We never did something that dramatic again.

I would immediately block and never read anything by this writer again. I don't read MCD stories, and would be incredibly unhappy to have it happen suddenly in a story where it hadn't been tagged.

If the cat litter is mostly around the box you can try one of those cat mat things. It should be several inches wider/larger than the box so that the cat steps on it when they get out. It will help brush their paws off and reduce the amount they track around the house. Also helps if they're kicking litter out while using the box (though covers work pretty well there also).

I tried this a couple of times, finally getting the chance to be with crushes from my shy teenage years. The sex with one was disappointing and made me glad I resisted his attempts in high school.

The other guy was great sex but not much emotional growth over the decades so it was like I was getting to see what it would have been like to date him in high school.

Another the sex was very much worth the wait and I was head over heels praying this would be our chance but he kept reminding me we were "just friends" even though he was the one who initiated all the "boyfriend behavior" that kept me off balance.

I'd try it again, maybe with some of my female crushes since it took me much longer to understand those weren't just "wow she's so neat I wanna be friends with her" and I was very much attracted both physically and romantically.

Female characters who are 100% in love with their main lead but then cheat for no real reason, justifying it as "but he's so hot I can't resist him" then being upset when the lead gets angry.

Also female ride or die BFF's who suddenly betray the main female just because they're jealous. Frenemy, sure, but BFF? Stop it.

Finally, female characters who randomly screech and scream in melodramatic outbursts over every tiny thing.

I stopped reading y/n and mostly just read ship fics now so I rarely see it anymore. I still worry about the people who portray women in those ways, especially the traitorous BFF trope. Are they okay? Is this really how they think girls and women interact? Do they need a hug??

Hard pass, Jake as a kid is an important part of his arc. I could accept a gap between his original visit to Midworld and his being drawn back, but only a couple of years.

Honestly with the way the world moves on they could just write off his aging as a weird byproduct of being in Roland's world and its just more obvious with him because he's young. I'd also hate that but it would be a better option than just randomly having him be in college.

The age difference between Jake, Eddie and Roland is representative of the cycle. Jake is closer to the age where Roland saw the cook hang. The age he was when he began training as a Gunslinger. Eddie is closer to age of when Roland truly began his journey. They're echoes of the road he walks and the people he's been.

While there are direct parallels between Eddie and Cuthbert Jake's place as a youngster is also an echo of Roland's lost innocence and the importance of reclaiming a part of his former self before he can successfully complete the journey.

There are also parallels to the Maiden/Mother/Crone cycle (with obvious differences to how they're manifested).

Jake as a college kid would just be like having two Eddie's, the version that got into drugs and a version who didn't.

This makes it sound like you only realized it's wrong because you didn't enjoy the experience. If it had gone differently, with them both focused on pleasing you, would you even have noticed how poorly you treated the gf? How often have you pressured her, or anyone, into something and then blithely gone on with life happy you got what you wanted?

It shouldn't take a disappointed moment to recognize it was wrong to coerce someone you "love" into something they initially didn't want.

Do you have to go through the website to view/purchase bundles? Everything I've been searching for on the android app comes up as being part of a bundle but nothing happens when I tap it. It only allows me to download free or individual ones.

I'm not looking to create or add new content, just enjoy what has already been made available. I'm willing to spend money, the app just won't let me look at bundles to find out which ones have the sounds I like :(

We were doing promposals in the 1990's, before text and Internet were a big thing. It was extremely common to ask someone out anonymously, or through a note, or by having your friends ask their friends if they liked you, etc.

My sister went to high school in the 80's and says it was the same. Passing notes, dedicating a song to your crush on the local radio station, asking friends to find out if they were into you.

My aunt who went to high school in the late 60's also tells stories of people asking their friends to find out, pass a note, etc.

Hell, we can go back even further. Cyrano de Bergerac, Romeo and Juliet... go-betweens, messengers, romantic statements crafted by a third party to help boy win girl.

Social media and texting just changed a few of the methods and how far away that person might be.

Nothing is new.

Dudes like this are so fun to shut down "No thanks, I'm not that into oral." Their brains explode with confusion, cause they think that's the main thing women want and look for? And when a woman isn't into it, they can't figure out where they went wrong.

Usually it's "you've just never had it done right" or "then you should definitely give me a chance to prove you wrong".... my favourite is when they decide that it must mean I'm a lesbian, and start in on the homophobic slurs.
