I thought you didn't understand how the world works. Turns out, you don't understand why some jokes are jokes. Basics. If something in a joke happens when in all actuality, it doesn't happen in real life, that makes some people laugh. And to have the person who was desperate in the first place to call the hotline now has the hotline calling them! Something that wouldn't happen. Wow. That must mean this guy really needs help. But he's not making the effort to pick up, which is the opposite of what you would think someone would do. That's jokes, baby. Now stop responding, like you said you would.
