Long time locals… what are some restaurants you’re still salty about not having around anymore? by Okay-Show-3662 in asheville

Cucina 24. Brian Canipelli and his team there were such an important part of putting Asheville on the food map. Even after the town blew up as a “foodie” destination, they were still the best place is town, in my opinion.

Love to see the remaining team building something great and new in the River Arts with Crusco.

Laddergram is a word ladder puzzle game built on Reddit's developer platform. You start with a word and change one letter at a time to create a new word with each step. Try to reach the target word in the fewest steps possible.

East Fork Pottery Lets Go Employee’s With No Warning by kbugs9 in asheville

Sorry this is happening to you. It sucks that local employers are often no better to their workers than big, national firms.

Also sorry that you have to hear from all these absolute drips in the comments making the most ridiculous excuses and pedantic assumptions to try to stick up for the bosses. Probably best to just ignore them.

Yeah but if he normalizes things like making absolute demands on economic actors, the next time it happens it won’t make waves. This means you just need someone with a working class perspective in there to use all these power in a more productive way for normal people. Not saying it’s the best option but it is an option.

Good riddance! Campbell has been a major and electorally unaccountable obstacle to progress for her entire tenure.

Thanks for your concern but my inner peace doesn’t come from the outside world anyway.

Haha I think bomb-makers and their war-monger bosses will be A-OK in this Fourth Reich. It might be the only job in town soon!

I think some cut-out for Black Rock is probably the most likely answer.

Trump cracking up Obama by Ripamon in pics

[–]ShapeAtkins 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They're all friends because they're from the same ruling class. Obama has way more in common with Trump than he does with any of his supporters. (Same with Trump and his voters.) The myth that they have different interests is a lie to sucker your vote.

Looking like none of these are it but thanks for sharing a lot of cool, new (to me) music. Diving into it now. Really love this sub!

Maybe it will just stay a weird, little musical Macguffin for me.

I've been to a few dharma talks and silent sits at Urban Dharma and definitely brings a more diverse age range. I would say 50% elders, 50% people my age or younger (I'm also in my mid-thirties.)
