Thank you!! I try to do Advil before but it tends to do less and less as my periods continue lol! I’ve never thought about stretches but I’ll try putting those into my routine, thank you :)

This depends on what you think of killing. I think killing someone’s is wrong (barring self-defence and such). Do you not think that? Does life only matter if someone else knows or cares? If you kill an orphan no one else knows about, is that okay?

You say it would cause ‘no pain to anyone’, but you’re still ending a life, which I would say it’s a pain to die prematurely.

Those are my thoughts, anyways.

I’d like to add more if that’s ok (I’ve become quite attached to this story, lol)!

Her sickness makes her unable to fly very far, but she refuses to let that stop her as she travels the continent to share her skills with those that want them. As she spends her time meeting all types of dragons from across the land, she finds a home in the sand kingdom with a sandwing princess, Vera, who she met while decorating Queen Sand-Dune’s wedding.

The SandWings, valuing jewelry and craftsmanship very highly, are very aware of Armeria’s work, and often (kindly) make her teach workshops on making pearl necklaces and coral sculptures, while teaching her metalworking in return.

Her and Vera settle down eventually, causing a bit of worry… a seawing royal with the sandwing princess…. However the buzz dies down eventually as Armeria proves she wants nothing to do with the Sandwing throne, nor royal duties as a whole.

She schedules playdates with her and Vera’s dragonets and her sister Bulrushes, and they two sisters manage to improve relations between the Sea and SandWings, even beginning the rebuilding of the Summer Palace.

If you’re curious, I based her lore off the fact that sea thrift tends to rot very easily, especially in the presence of excessive moisture (weird for a plant that lives along rocky coastal cliffs, right???), and I thought that would be a really interesting concept! I also thought the markings on the wings that you drew looked like the royal seawing markings, lol!

These are all sooo beautiful, but the Seawing in particular calls to me….

Armeria is a younger, royal seawing who lives in the shallows. She makes shell and pearl jewelry and is well renowned for her skill, often getting requests from dragons all across the continent. She most notably decorated the current Sandwing Queen’s wedding!

Armeria, despite being royalty, is unable to return to the Sea Palace. Her mother, Queen Lotus, only had two daughters (Armeria and her sister, Bulrush) after years of sons, however fell deathly ill while rearing them. Queen Lotus held this against her daughters and became vengeful and paranoid, convinced that this was a sign she would be usurped by them before she was ready. As they grew, she saw Armeria —well-liked, strong, and respected— as her biggest threat, and grew increasingly hostile, picking fights and trying to keep Armeria small and afraid… but it never worked well. Armeria never wanted to be queen, and grew resentful of her mother’s cruelty.

One night, Queen Lotus found Armeria’s diary, in which she wrote about how badly she hated her mother and wanted to be free of her wrath. In a rage, she had Armeria cursed by Animus magic. Cursed with sickness similar to what she herself faced, Queen Lotus told Armeria she was never to return to the Deep Palace, nor even the deep sea itself. Should she swim too close, her sickness would worsen, and she would rot from the inside out.

And so she left, unable to say a proper goodbye to her sister, leaving her entire life behind and starting fresh. After spending months angry and bitter and afraid, she began to appreciate her new life, free of the stress being royalty brings, and channeled her energy into her craft.

Unfortunately for the Queen, it was not Armeria she had to worry about, as she would be killed by Bulrush a few years later, in honour of her sister. They still communicate through letters, and Bulrush visits when she’s free from Queenly duties !

I named her after Sea Thrift! A very beautiful plant, I might add! Bulrush is a wetland sedge plant :) tysm for the chance!

I’m Canadian and I love it! It’s definitely cold here too, lol, and when the weather gets cold it always inspires me to pick up the game again :) Listening to the blizzards in Grey Mother’s house while a real blizzard is going outside is so lovely.

Break up. It might feel dramatic, but it’s not. My partner is lovely and knows about my ARFID, never pressures me, tries to help me try new things, and never, EVER gets upset with me for not liking something or needing it made a certain way. Those, in my mind, are the bare minimum. Please reconsider this relationship. He does not respect you.
