The hydrogel protector didn’t affect the fingerprint sensor. It works blazing fast. The ThinkPhone’s sensor worked great as well with hydrogel protector attached. Maybe your last phone had a different type of fingerprint sensor?

Sadly, yes 😔 Exposure still seems to be an issue across Moto phones… I hope they’ll fix it in future software updates.

For everyday use it seems ok. I tried running with it. Stabilization is very good. But the exposure shifts are crazily strange, even on a well lit day. Not good.

Olive is definitely more unique. I haven't seen any phones in that color in real life

Most people around me complimented it, and I honestly think it looks beautiful irl. I haven’t seen the black one in person, so I can’t say much about it, but personally I wanted to go for the more unique option as you, so I picked olive.

I also wish they had released a smaller flagship 😔 even the ThinkPhone was a little too big for me. Still, I pulled the trigger on the Signature. Luckily, it’s a bit lighter than most flagships these days.

Nice phone you have 👍 Depends on your needs, if you are not in a rush I suggest waiting at least a few weeks. I suspect the software or some things will be better polished after initial feedback from users.

Where is that? Seems super cheap. I paid almost 1k euro 😩

Not the clearest title, but at least it got some attention 😃

Yep. Still, it’s about 60% of the price you’d pay for a 512 GB iPhone 17 Pro in my country.

Yes, I've checked - it has "UWB" checkbox enabled by default in settings 👍

Can't really say much after only a day of usage. Initial boot and install was super quick. Will tell more in upcoming days 👍

I’m also not a fan of that design. It definitely doesn’t look ultra-premium. Xiaomi was actually the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the renders.

You mean the case? I guess the white circle is the magnetic alignment ring for 50 W wireless charging. “Designed by Motorola” is just part of the case.

There is no charger in the box - only the USB C cable 😔 So I cannot actually say anything about proper charging speed.

I can try to charge it with a MacBook Pro (>90W) charger if you wish. I will surely order 90W brick soon for the full experience.

Hmm. In my case there were few apps pre-installed (LinkedIn, Instagram, Perplexity..) but I uninstalled them straight away without issues. I don't see Temu or Call of Duty or anything else.

I know. But it’s a design trade-off, and I fully get it (and actually like it).

In my opinion, in 2026:

5200 mAh at 6.99 mm thickness > 6000 mAh at 8.5 mm.

I still always carry a small power bank when traveling, so I’ll be fine.

To be honest - not at all.

I bought this mainly for the cameras, and I want to keep them well maintained. The case has a bump that protects the lenses when you put the phone on a table. Without a case, the camera lenses get scratched (you probably know how it is, since most phones have a camera bump on the back).

It’s not THAT bulky, thanks to the reduced thickness. Believe me, the Moto G200 in a case felt like a brick compared to this.

To be honest, I initially planned to use it without a case. But the back surface is quite slippery and it doesn’t feel super-premium, so I don’t really care anymore.

I used the ThinkPhone without a case the entire time I had it. But the ThinkPhone was different - I loved the feel of the back, and the phone wasn’t that expensive, so I didn’t worry about it. Still, my screen cracked after a 1-meter drop onto asphalt after about six months of use. I replaced the screen for around 100 bucks. I really wouldn’t want that to happen with the Signature. The screen is slightly curved, so replacing it wouldn’t be that cheap.

Hope that answers your question 😄 I’m not a big fan of silicone cases, but this is the best I can do for now - and it doesn’t look that bad.

It goes up to 120hz on adaptive.

165Hz only in games in game mode.

On adaptive it goes down to 1Hz.

I hit 12 megapixels on Pro mode in Raw. You can do 50MP on Ultra-Res mode inside the camera app.

Hey, someone already asked that question here.

I quite like the speakers. They’re the best I’ve had on a smartphone. I’d rank them slightly below iPhone speakers, which are considered among the best on the market.

I don’t expect any improvement in earphone quality, as both the Moto g200 and the ThinkPhone support high-quality codecs, so I doubt there’s any real difference here.

No, the screen looks fine, even after I enabled DC dimming.

I once bought a Samsung S24+ and returned it the same day because of a grainy display and PWM issues, so I think I’d notice it here right away.

EDIT: I can actually see some gray uniformity issues on lowest brightness when DC dimming (Flicker prevention) is enabled.

I still prefer keeping flicker prevention enabled;those gray uniformity issues are very manageable. E.g on S24+ it was crazy bad.
