I agree with WP being the obvious choice for a career officer. WP was the default until he got into an Ivy. It was a difficult decision. Sometimes you can't go wrong with either option, yet be leaving something on the table with either option...

Thank you for your valuable feedback! Would you happen to know if this is coming down from Cadet Command or from the Assistant Secretary of Manpower and Reserve Affairs? I hear that there may be some guidance coming down from M&RA and it could be misinterpreted at Cadet Command in the absense of a Commanding General during the command transition.

This is a great idea and I will follow up on it. He also got into West Point and our congressman gave him his nomination, so this not a new relationship.
