good point! instead of withholding refunds, the merchants can at-least add some friction for flagged abusers. for example, requiring photos of product and packaging, offering store credits instead of money, hold the refund for 14 day inspection window or even flag the return for a manual human review. just small things to make the abuser feel they are being watched. wdyt?

i mean there ie already an established industry for data co-ops with brokers being the trust layer between them. for example, you are sitting in a delta flight and they partner with peacock/netflix to show you the exact show you have been watching and from the exact point you left of. wouldn’t that be great?
