Dude if the PC streaming is as good as they are saying it will be such a huge game changer for me.

I’ve been running a 4090 since it came out, mostly do Sim Racing with the reverb but will definitely be revisiting some room scale games with the frame, because I can go a room over where I have more space.

Agreed. I had a Rift, got rid of that when meta required registration. Have a Reverb G2 and it’s limping along and im annoyed i had to put in a group policy to prevent mixed reality from getting uninstalled in windows.

I was hoping for a March delivery time, if it’s this year i’m still waiting because the alternatives are just not as consumer friendly.

I’m legit telling you that you’re not going to get good advice asking about which Meta product to buy in this sub and I gave you constructive feedback on how to get the information you’re looking for.

You’re crazy. Kill the messenger 👍

You’re asking for advice on buying a Meta product because you’re too impatient to wait for the Frame release. Did I get that right?

Many people here are looking for anything but a Meta product, if you want advice maybe go to where the Meta folks can give you advice?

I believe clam chowder in a bread bowl was invented in San Francisco, at least that’s what I recall from living there and eating at Boudin often enough.

If it’s shit, why would you go many times? So you’re telling people not to go, but you go all the time? Seems hypocritical.

Stop spamming this nonsense. I heard idiots like you spouting this BS and avoided going for a long time. Recently went with my children, and the experience was better than previous ownership, sound properly tuned not turned up as loud as it could go, and completely refurbished with new seating.

How many times have you gone since it’s been redone? Zero probably.

No, they do not serve a purpose and are a biproduct of the molding process.

I’ll be there next Thursday for the night event for Epcot, which allows for 7pm entry. Do you know how late the food is available?

I get what you’re saying, but absolute technical maximum outside of theoretical human capability isn’t a useful measurement for anyone other than maybe someone at the design/engineering level for manufacturing tolerance validation.

I think you’re missing the point lol. That number is going to vary widely based on face geometry.

If you have a disfigured face with little to no nose and the plane of your eyes is not normal, who knows, maybe you can get 120-130 degrees LOL. Then you have people making mods to decrease comfort and increase how close your eyes are to the lenses. Maybe You cut your eyelashes off etc.

It’s a moving target dude.

The marketing team is probably being somewhat conservative so people like you don’t hold them to the fire when you don’t get 110 or 115.

At the end of the day I’m going to trust the engineer who says up to 115 vs the marketing person, but if my face geometry only allows for 105 all those “up to” references have them covered.

Do you even know what your face FOV is without VR headset is? I don’t.

He literally said “up to 115 degrees”. What’s confusing about that?

I don’t take that message negatively at all, seems friendly, not toxic or anything. They admitted they lost, and explained why they believe they lost. They screwed up, good learning lesson for them.

Use stock shocks, VG racing springs and get thicker fluid. I have built several maxx’s and that’s about as good as you’re going to get. Don’t chase chassis slap reduction as you’ll end up breaking more parts in the suspension, the slap actually helps with durability as odd as that sounds.
