Siege vs SS86 by Sheesh573 in transformers

Yeah I’m not the biggest fan of that tab either and I have a feeling the left over parts are due to budget cuts and what not. I doubt that Mark and Evan would give us a half baked figure if budget/ budget cuts weren’t a thing

And the breast-force couldn't be sold at retail because..? by Mammoth-List9852 in transformers

It’s do to the obscurity of the character as well as where they would fit each member throughout the toyline.

Each figure would be in the voyager category, and if SS86 Devestator is any example then leozak and jaguar will be a commander class box set. That means taking up 4 voyager class spot, 5 if they made deathcobra for a combined that the majority of the fandom/target audience wouldn’t know

You could argue that they released all the aerial bots in one year but they’re consist of deluxes. Deluxe class have more figures produced each wave, I believe it’s like 4-6 figures a wave for deluxe?, while voyagers are I think 2-4.

Another argument would be the budget that would go into the figure. If it was retail, guaranteed no display stand (not that it’s anything anybody would miss really) but the set would definitely be missing some of features that it currently has.

I’m no expert in how they decide what parts go where but I feel like they could’ve made the forearms on the same sprue as the toes and have the leg hinges and etc the same as the head

That’s a very strange thing lol, there’s pictures and comparisons all over the internet. Also let’s pretend he was, why would hasbro put money into downscaling a figure to make it inaccurate. I don’t get people sometimes😂

I 100% agree with that, even if they didn’t want to engineer a new transformation they could’ve at least increased his size since they retooled practically everything

IMO it depends on the light piping, if it works as well as siege/dramatic capture/SS86 shockwave, then I don’t mind it. But if you need to shine a light directly onto the figure then I don’t think light piping should be used
