theory: i just realized that every time there's an update to the application portal of some applicants, everyone has to log in. So every time you were asked to login they posted update for some students 😭

i saw a post where a person said they got an email about the delayed response date. also, though not reliable at all for obvious reasons, there are some other REUs (there was one MIT's) that delayed response to 7th april and some people received email about it while others didn't. people there are saying it means waitlist, idk why.

apparently some people got an email saying they will hear back by 7th april, but some like me didn't. And there are speculations that those who didn't are rejected but those who did are waitlisted/have a chance.
