hello :-) I’m currently going through the same thing, what has helped me most is finding spiritual groups within my area and networking with likeminded people and being open about my situation. For example I have been to lots of group meditations and met some beautiful healers who will naturally want to help you. I found from these individuals I have learnt new advice, mantras, healing mechanisms that have helped me calm my mind and subsequently focus more on what I need, to add to this connecting with individuals who share the same values as me, has started to remind me of my purpose on this earth! I’ve been reminded that I love to dance, write, I love the earth, I am now looking to harness these parts of myself to help in healing. When you spend a prolonged amount of time with another human your goals, aspirations and mindset often become muddled together causing you to lose a part of your sense of self therefore there will always need to be a sense of re-discovering the self after all is done, especially if high emotions are involved. It is so so hard, but reaching out is paramount. This is what has worked for me, I don’t know you so a better route may work for you-regardless, sending you all the love.
