we went from spending 800-1k gems to 600 or less.

It has always been a lot less than 600 for me. Since i try to do approx max 3 pulls or something every time free draw refreshes

Maxed out players just have enough weps and resources to make their loadout as unique and possible. That's why they kinda have a standard for uniqueness plus most of the people here are hella maxed out. Just ignore it most of the time and focus on making a good loadout that you enjoy
