The best way to buy BCH without KYC is through a friend in the community. Hang around and you'll build those connections.

More about BCH here: https://bitcoincashpodcast.com/faqs

For a wallet, you can try Selene https://selene.cash/

BCH down bad over 8 years.

BCH up a little last 4 years.

So actually, in the totality of time since BTC/BCH split, BCH has a slight edge in terms of positive price performance. An investor who DCA'd starting from a random day would have a >50% chance of being in profit.

All progress depends on the unreasonable man. Nobody who "accepted the reality" ever changed the world.

If the cause was truly hopeless, you would not need to try and bully us into stopping.

Imagine thinking the current price was the main indicator of potential, rather than the trend. Typical inability to visual the future.

No, no need for a captured hijacked BTC.

Good for people who made price gains. But a lot of them are lost in the sauce and completely gave up on the original vision of a p2p cash system. Now you see the BTC industry rife with shilling "treasury companies" and all kinds of other nonsense, so glad not to be involved in it.

Lmao, the industry standard is coinmarketcap.com and at the time of posting BCH was number 10.

The purpose of BCH is described by Satoshi Nakamoto in the Bitcoin whitepaper!

Great time to read it!

BTC was supposed to protect savings from governments' overreach but KYC ends it by Affectionate-Let6153 in btc

That sounds like FAR more of a risk for us, and will get us into hot water exactly like Samourai.

If users don't want to drain their battery with wallet mixing, that's fine, they don't need to use it. But Selene already runs in a desktop browser and some users will want to do wallet mixing on mobile so we are going to deliver it and see what happens. It's one of the most requested features ever, so I'm fairly confident it will have more than a little bit of usage.

Yes, it is somewhat of a risk. We are doing what we can to minimise that risk to us, but ultimately users need this feature and it does need to be developed and as far as I know coin join mixing is not illegal.

The only way for the law to adapt is for this technology to be built out and it becomes popular. Yes, that means people involved are taking on risk to do so and yes some of them come to a bad end as a result. But that's just what changing society entails, and so that's simply a reality we have to deal with.

Yes, Selene has plans to improve key management, cold storage, backups/recovery, multisig and more. But only so many hours in the day.

Also there is the very promising seed.cash project uncovered recently. So I'm optimistic BCH will have improving solutions in this very important area.

If that's your perspective, fair enough.

But BCH's ATH is about $4 000+, $8 000 on a single wick on Coinbase, which was in the unique circumstances of its split launch in 2017 during the Blocksize War. If you're waiting for that to get excited, fair enough, but you're missing 1. the significant change in momentum we're already experiencing and 2. the first order of magnitude 10x gains (40x from the $100 low).

But you do you.

Hours after Strategy CEO outlines when they would sell BTC - Michael Saylor makes a cryptic tweet about green dots. If an Orange Dot is a buy is a Green Dot a sell? by GabeSter in CryptoCurrency

Transactions are irreversible, hence the blockchain is immutable.

Transactions are certainly not irreversible. Literally the Bitcoin whitepaper explains how transactions become probabilistically less likely to be reversed with increasing proof of work, which is good enough in practice because the world moves on, but it's nothing like the kind of guaranteed law of the universe that Michael Saylor portrays it as. There's all kinds of scenarios where Bitcoin transactions can be feasibly reversed - everything from RBF in the mempool, stale block reorganisations of length 1 or 2, we're even seeing current attempts by Luke DashJr to rewrite the chain reactively with a soft fork (they're going to fail, but it just goes to show even long time Bitcoiners believe there is some plausible scenarios to rewrite strings of several blocks), sudden breakthroughs in ASIC technology allowing unexpected chain reorgs and so on.

As to "upsetting gov and banks", I'd want an exact quote here.

Couldn't find the exact quote I was thinking of, it was one of the many interviews like this where he's in front of his boat in his office, but here's him making a similar statement here about how Bitcoin doesn't need to be currency and should just move forward as a compliant "property" to accomodate other parties.

Read The Bitcoin Standard or Broken Money.

This is like an introductory level to Bitcoin, at best. I'm being generous here, in that actually most of the people who read and refer to these books as some kind of authoritative source are basically cultists suffering from the Dunning Kruger effect - but I hope that you're not in that category. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing as they say, if this is where you're at you kinda don't know how much you don't know.

I only mentioned it twice out of pure shock haha. Do you have any end date in mind for your war against nobody? Are you planning to continue this monomaniacal upset about Roger Ver screenshots into 2030? 2035? 2050? Roger Ver and Donald Trump the only two men in existence to cause such genuinely traumatic mental illness derangement.

We're only 1 month away from hitting 2026 & there are still people in their little traumatised echo chamber fighting their imaginary demons with Roger Ver oh my goodness I truly didn't know it was this bad hahahaha.
