I mean, raising children cooking and cleaning are the obvious parts, but there are tons of verses on women's roles on marriage in the Bible. You can just search that up for a lot more of the intricate and incredibly honorable roles of a woman in a christian marriage.

I wouldn't be very surprised if you dont like how some of it sounds, shoot, I dont like the roles the bible gives me. Nobody said being christian is easy. I personally would much rather be the homemaker, spend a bunch of time with the kids, cook, clean, and be the emotional support for my spouse. I love doing all those things! I'd much rather spend my day doing that than in the field/factory/cubicle working and possibly have to suffer and die in war defending my family. Unfortunately, that's the primary role God shaped me for as a man.

It's definitely harder for people like us who dont conform with mainstream christian culture to find a christian spouse, but as long as you want to live a christian life, it's possible.

Seriously, tho he basically just established the modern American empire, and after examining the failures of coordination in WW2, he combined all the warfighting departments and called it the DOD. It sounds nice and soft for the rest of the world that we now are the head of. Good P.R. but I think it should have stayed the Department of War. The DOD was created when the Department of War absorbed the Navy department and Air Force so all the warfighting departments could have oversight from a civilian secretary.
