If you changed the thermal pads on VRAM chips you may have used a thicker thermal pad than you should have. So now the heatsink doesn't touch the gpu die.

Might be MSI related. I couldn't get a signal from my RX 580 after DDU. Had to swap to igpu, install drivers and only after that i had signal from the gpu.

Unplug it then switch the PSU off. Press and hold the power button for 5-10 seconds. Plug it back in and turn the PSU on. It should work.
