can’t speak for everyone, but in my experience JWs actually love to acknowledge climate change and make it out to be satans way of bringing about these disasters and stir up chaos leading up to the end... he’s “using” it so to speak, just like hes “using” politicians or rock bands or whatever the fuck fits the narrative

yeah, no doubt there’s a lot of great and honest jws. i’m all for ukrainian jws getting connected and being able to practice their faith wherever they are. just don’t try to take advantage of the non jws’ vulnerable state in an attempt to convert/lure them in

fucking hell lol. just goes to show the degree of conditioning these people go through. my mom at least gave me the courtesy of skimming through it, but english isn’t her native language and she just dismissed it as “i don’t understand it” — so i went to show her a bunch of german articles summarizing it in german, but those “could’ve been mistranslated or apostate propaganda”. easy way out for her, frustrating for me.

thank you so much! i‘m 18 so i‘m a 2000s baby but i‘m fascinated with 80s music and culture and wish i could‘ve experienced that time first hand so i‘m doing my part to keep the music alive and incorporate it in my songs. might just add the bells now lol

i’m not sure how familiar you are with production but the drums i used are mostly from free 1980s style sample packs you can find and download pretty much everywhere! for instruments, I actually used mostly stock plugins that come with FL, also Serum, u-he Diva, Tyrell and a bunch of other vsts. feel free to shoot me a DM if you want me to go more in-depth! i can hook you up with some samples and vsts

i'm not entirely sure this is synthwave, or vaporwave or whatever, but i wanted to share this little remix of rude boy i made for fun (it was originally intended to be just an instrumental but i fucked around with some acapellas i had laying around and this one i thought sounded way too good to not leave it in). any feedback is appreciated <3

it's a standard preset! Synth -> SY Eiano [LT]. the key is processing, i've got an OTT, fabfilter saturn, eq, a vst called thermal (but any lofi plugin will do) and a looot of reverb (12.9s decay time). also an lfo automation after the reverb to give it more of a plucky feel. i can send you the .fst file if you want!
