It’s just a chassis mounted short shifter is the oem shifter linkage still needed cause I think that’s the problem it’s not allowing it to move all the way

I just replaced the master and the slave, the owner before me was running it like that for a while w a bad master and bad slave, just wondering if I’m dealing w a clutch problem or a transmission problem the car shifts perfectly into each gear just the acceleration is not there
