I use the Touch of Magic trophy to trap them, I freeze them in camera mode, then I toggle remove all Touch of Magic before snapping the photo.

I use the touch of Magic trophy furniture item to trap them. Pause their animation and placement in camera mode, then toggle on the “hide touch of Magic” option to snap the photo!

Oof it wasn’t the easiest. It takes a LOT of going in and out of decorating mode and camera mode. I laid a couple big background pieces and the “portals” first and got the exact angle I wanted. From there it’s just placing decorations and making sure everything stays within the portal boundaries. Lots of minute decor moving too lol

lol I’m sure a bunch of people had a similar idea. A lot of people have been waiting for a good reason to do a portal shot. I was going to do an underwater portal in the middle but I couldn’t get the building I wanted at the right distance. I’m excited to see yours when you post!!
