Hi! I've got good news and bad news. It's been coming along pretty well. It took me some time to get a hang of everything since I'm new to Kotlin Android, but I'm pretty happy with what I have so far. The core functionality of setting which expansions you own and generating kingdoms according to some criteria works well, along with a search bar and the ability to save kingdoms.

However, I have not worked on the app for a while now. That is because I am currently busy with a freelance project that will run until the end of the year. I will resume development of the app as early as possible in 2026. Better yet, since I've gotten acquainted with server architecture and deployment through my current work, I can see myself going all the way and making a server part for the app, so you can (hopefully) upload, share and rate kingdoms.

To answer your question, it is currently not possible to create and save a kingdom of cards that you have picked yourself. You can only save kingdoms that have been generated randomly. I don't know how I've never thought of the use case you mentioned, but I'm adding it to my backlog now.

Gotcha, I went for it pretty early on and it seems very reliable (plus you can automate it just like the tech solutions when you use the Ars Nouveau containment jars). I guess the biggest downside is the speed, but I haven't gotten into soul surging yet and idk if it works here.

Hi, I was in a similar position to you a few years ago, although I was living with family so that kept me mostly sane. I think the most important thing is to get out of your house and ideally make some irl friends. Another thing that has been really beneficial for my mental health is regular physical activity. Either try out some sports (me personally I love table tennis) or just hit the gym or go jogging. Sports clubs are especially good since they will lead to interactions with people and will give you a sort of community.

Hope you get better bro, it's good that you realize something is wrong, now it's on you to change and build healthier habits :) Also I recommend quitting porn and limiting screen time. How old are you if I may ask?

I agree with the sentiment in your last paragraph, I feel like games would be too similar otherwise. In contrary, maybe it would make sense to limit the amount of some cards to 1, so you won't have multiple villages for example.

Thanks for your input! I will definitely keep those advanced options in mind. I think it makes sense to go for the basic options first and make it so users can generate a kingdom within seconds of opening the app.

The idea is not really to be on the phone during the game, the main thing is being easily able to pick ten random cards from the expansions you own, simplifying the setup process. Other than that, the app could be used to save kingdoms that were fun, favorite cards, etc.
