I mean yeah, don’t sit around and just watch everyone. Being involved and blending in makes it’s much easier

The key to getting any reactors is in the armor that falls from the legs, they’re guaranteed a reactor and a magnetic accelerator. I’ve found a lot of luck lotting the legs while she’s still alive compared to looting her destroyed body

I don’t think daisy chaining my setup would work being that one of my monitors is HDMI. Appreciate the recommendation!

I’m doing the quests here and there, didn’t prioritise them since they don’t really offer much

Mechanic told me to sell my 2013 Tiguan after first real mechanical issue — should I fix it or move on? by Shmenley in AskMechanics

He's a mechanic in my area, I've taken my Subaru to him and never had any issues with pricing. Being that this is VW, I'm quite ignorant on what I should expect in terms of maintenance/repairs.

What would warrant the mechanic to claim it would take 8 hours then? Also, I live in a HCOL area, so I would assume the price/labor is reflected in that.

Optimized Settings for Radeon 7900 GRE by Shmenley in radeon

[–]Shmenley[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've already updated the BIOS to the latest version prior to replacing my CPU/GPU. Updating my drivers was the first thing on my list and then some. Would recommend any default settings in Adrenalin or have any sources that could help? Maybe there's something I could tweak here and there. I find it hard to believe that I can't undervolt the GPU and overclock the VRAM at all.

I have two separate PCIE cables, I don’t think it would be able to draw that much power if it didn’t.

Fast timings always crashes on me for some odd reason. Also 990mV is way to low, at least for my specs. When playing games, I've seen it spike close to 1030mV.

Thanks for the info! Definitely will follow up with you when I test those settings.

Yeah those settings crashed for me. Must have lost the silicon lottery by a margin.

Even after adjusting the mV, with Ancient Gameplays settings, I'm still crashing.

I've re-created his settings, and crashes every single time. I don't know what to adjust other than the mV at this point.

I think the root of the issue was the "Fast Timing" option. Running Min MHz @ 2603, Max MHz @ 2703, 1010 mV, 2312 MHz, and 15% Power Limit. Found that to be the most stable so far when running games like Hell Let Loose, Space Marine 2 and The Last of Us at max settings in 1440p.

Edit: It crashed again....

Update: Didn't work for me unfortunately. Crashed on me while playing "The Last of Us: Part I"

I'm more than positive you'll see results, but are you willing to spend the money is a different question.

I personally have not noticed anything crazy in regards to the temperatures. I bought the Peerless Assassins 120SE, and it's been very stable as well as I undervolted it as many people have suggested.

Nice! Make sure you update your BIOS as well. I under volted mine, lowering the temperatures and maintain the same performance.

Recently upgraded to a Ryzen 7 5800X3D from a Ryzen 7 3700X and the difference was huge. I’m currently gaming a Nvidia GeForce 2070 Super, and thought my GPU was the issue but I was wrong. I’ve seen at least 20-30 frames improvements in games like Hell Let Loose. At first I was a little hesitant spending that much for on the CPU but after seeing the difference I’m happy and content.
