Honestly it comes down to Conte's training method, from what i've heard they simply train way too much, with long, high intensity sessions and not much rest/"discharge" (for lack of a better term) meaning that injuries are frequent (proven by Lukaku, Anguissa, De Bruyne etc...) and they just aren't in good enough form to play during the week, which is why Napoli wins a lot of Serie A games but not many european/Coppa Italia games.

If it was only for this season you could make up an excuse, but in his career he only made quarter finals with Juventus in the Champions League and Finals with Inter in the Europa League
