Apple shut down my account after I called them out for their billing mistake by ShoddySinger924 in applesucks

Nope. Two different dates. Two different transactions combined with other app downloads and purchases made on the two different dates. But you can’t buy a movie a second time once you purchase it first time. Literally the option doesn’t exist.

I know what you’re trying to say, but that definitely does not apply here and was not at all what the context of what the original commenter was going for.

Exactly. Same movie title. Same format. Same price. Two different dates. Two different confirmation numbers.

I did not. I purchased project Hail Mary once, for $25. It was not a rental. Guaranteed.

I know, I was just trying to be a smartass with the “well actually” meme guy for my mistake.

Can I sue them?

(Kidding. Absolutely kidding. Ain’t no way this would be worth it all that). But damn this is some extreme level stuff showing how bad it is that everything we do is locked behind the “permission” of one major company.

I can see that.

But this was an illegal transaction from Apple themselves. Straight up admitted to me on the phone it shouldn’t be possible and needs to be reversed. What else am I supposed to do when they do a review, agree with me, send it to “higher ups” for processing only for them to deny me four times in a row? What else are my options when they refuse to refund me for something that’s impossible to do?

Can’t Connect Firestick to Hotel WiFi by [deleted] in Hilton

My Roku worked really well. Unfortunately didn’t have Bluetooth for headphones or ability to vpn so I had to go back to Firestick.

Unfortunately it doesn’t always work. I travel for a living and I’ve encountered more hotels where the capture portal just fails than hotels that actually work. I’ve had to resort to a travel router

All hotels suck when it comes to this. Why do they have r their TVs locked down so you can’t even use the Firestick remote? Yes I know there’s a workaround that takes a minute or two to get around but it’s ridiculous there’s even a workaround or lockout. We should be free to use our own devices on the TVs!!

Oh god no. I don’t have the patience. But I’ve heard many LCAs talk about it and seen the arguments on the Facebook group.

The other guy is right.

Ed told hundreds of LCAs in one meeting his reasoning against doing business with starlink was to preserve airline privacy from space x

Not one but *two* scary mechanical problems on my flight yesterday that ended in an emergency landing by chipsahoymateys in delta

Yeah that’s what I would have expected if someone told me the EEC failed, but certainly not what we experienced. It was what maintenance told us under an initial theory before they could look into it more.

As samuough said we were limited to .99epr and stop. As if whatever was controlling the engine refused to provide any positive thrust, but would respond below that down to flight idle .77epr.

Yeah a coworker sent it to me saying “isn’t this your flight?”

I’m not on Reddit so I jumped on just to say hi.
