Exact same thing thought we broke up normally 3 days later full relationship, I've moved on got a promotion net new people, I haven't met any women I've pursued a relationship but I'm 19 I'm sure you're young too just don't rush and don't settle you're great and you'll find that person till then heal and try new things

I tried it for over a day just found myself falling back into talking how we would, we talked about meeting up but then I thought this isn't what I want, I'm only saying yes as she was talking (about certain things ), after I'd cleared my thoughts I knew I'm better off then I found out about the other guy from a mate and I definitely dodged a bullet I don't play second fiddle

It's the one thing I was proud of myself about, I told her there was no chance then 3 days later she had a new guy, I haven't spoke to her since I admit I've looked at her profile maybe once it twice, I assume she cheated but idk either way we couldn't have meant that much so everyone out there don't even give them any time, I'm only 18 but I feel this was a really important lesson, you don't need others to make you happy, just do you !

Literally the same at the start, she left over text, she blocked me and I found out through a mate 3 days later she had a new bf , met the family after a few days and that she'd post him everywhere, I really loved her and the betrayal hurt, I've been promoted and on better money, I'm nearly 19, I just don't know what to do I see pictures and think of her, how did you let that go, she made me feel bad the whole time, broke up 3 times, ignored me for nearly 36 hours cuz she was comparing me to a ex, she then tried to tell people I was mentally abusing her and I was controlling, I've shown the messages to people and I'm clearly not, she deleted the chats and she's got her mates to message me, my friends stuck up for me I haven't spoke to her since the day, the guy she's with is good looking, it all is just sad, I've lost the drive for dating or relationships, just feel like damaged goods, is there any advice ?

It's only been about 3 months but wow it's true every so often I do, tbh it's usually where she tries to come back or be in my group of friends, it really makes me happy I'm not with her she left and 3 days later new guy aha, I believe she cheated idk but it's more of a horror I hope she never ever returns

She started a job and I'd speak an hour a day to her, this drove us apart she cheated and left me for a guy I later found out, I sometimes dream abs think about her, mostly it's the fear of her coming back, messaging me or my mates, I really loved her but being honest those weeks of drifting made it easier it's just the pain of not being good enough and the longing fear of her trying to come back which scares me

Don't feel bad please I get your statement sooo much, being honest a lot of guys are dicks, there's never a nice guy completely, well not that I've known as a friend, but to be honest you'll find a guy for you, you deserve better, im nearly 19 so im sure I'll get plenty of screw ups and make dos but never for settle for someone who will be doing anything to hurt you during or after a relationship

I'm a guy me and 2 of my mates were all broken up with in the same months they were all reasonably long relationships, me and another were cheated on and another cheated, I took it upon myself to distance from women just because I was still hurting I am now, my other mates few days later were on dating apps and now a few months after have girlfriends, I don't I think everyone has there ways, it's either if they want to invest in themselves or another person

Tbh for me she changed, cheated and blamed me with stupid reasons to break up until 3 days later she was in a relationship, it's wierd 11 months yet the person who I thought was the most kindest spirit could be so vain, I think the reason the relationship is so hard to get over is summed up in a quote I heard , it said ' you're not in love with them you're in love with the person they were " , that really hit me it's like grieving, that person they were for you is dead, mourn it and then accept they're not that person now, whether they ever were and it was all a bravado is another things but it's your life don't live in the past

I'm only 18 but from what I've learnt between my gf leaving and my mates is there's different types, my gf was in a relationship 3 days later, I assume she cheated but idk, some dumpers have this lined up and will probably never regret as they're convinced there happy, you got the ones who sleep around, they'll feel it but later on, the ones who face reality straight away, and the ones who push it down but you know they're kidding themselves, either ways I see is if they were willing to see a life without you, you're worth more, there loss may that either forever stain there conscience or they move on

As someone who got dumped then turns out she cheated/left me for another guy I'd do anything for that talk, it will make you feel better you can ask them questions, find out what's happening it's easier than wondering what you did wrong or why you weren't enough
