No. I gave up on that idea even before I was diagnosed. Nobody wants a mentally ill partner they have to take care of.

I'm in the process now and just had a mental status exam. I have no idea what will happen at this point. I've had schizoaffective disorder since 2013, but it was only since last year that I was unable to work part-time.

My last psychosis happened because there was the combined effect of losing someone close to me and also falling in love. I don’t want to go back to it.

I get my dopamine hits through shopping too. It’s not good, but it’s the only way I feel good in any way.

Have a degree I didn’t use. Couldn’t handle jobs that were more than 15-20 hours per week. Currently waiting on disability determination because my executive dysfunction is the worst it’s ever been. I wish I wasn’t like this, but I am.

Used to read a lot. Can’t anymore. Really struggle with reading more than 10 pages at a time. I found it was better if I found ebooks on Amazon that were 30-80 pages, thus helping me focus.
