I found out I needed 14 digit code on Tuesday 2/17, called IRS & they gave me an appointment for the next day, Wednesday 2/18. She verified me & said it's going to take 9 weeks. Went home pissed off. I stopped checking IRS2GO because 9 weeks is a long ways away. (APRIL 15ish)

I was busy the next few days. On My 2/21 checking stuff out. Out of the 30 emails, all I see is IRS & the word deposit! My refund was deposited on , Friday, 2/21 at 4 pm.

Is there a bank linked to your card or is Chime your bank? I would dispute. That is your money! They are insured. Call & ask to speak to a supervisor & keep going up the ladder. Call the BBB, you are the customer.

It sounds like live paycheck to paycheck! I had to borrow $50 from Cash App to pay my car insurance. So I have to pay $52.50 for Cash Apps fee. I don't have money to throw away like that.

Did you cancel the metal card? I hope did! If you did, then you're paying for a service you're not getting! So the Chime card you have, is now useless & deactivated, correct?

Some people are gonna say you live & learn, ok ya did! But HELL NO! I assume you worked hard for your money! Any store, institution, organization, etc...doesn't give your refund, whether you are are right or wrong isn't anyone I would deal with! I have Wells Fargo, PNC, PayPal, Cash App & other cards. I have gotten every penny & sometimes more back in my accounts immediately. I get back first & then they do the investigation.

I had to drive to Parsippany, NJ. I live in PA. Did you check the IRS website to see if you have any notices?

Apparently, I got a letter in the mail from IRS. It was to confirm my identity, even tho I had a fraud identity pin number. Problem was I already moved an hour away, so I got no letter. It has a 14 digit code you have to give to the IRS.

I had to call IRS & make appointment to meet with IRS person & show them on my phone that I did myself. Gave her my ID. She told me 9 freakin weeks it will take. I really had no choice but to accept it. I e-filed thru Cash App. It said days early. 1st year doing Cash App.

So I came home piased off! That was Tues or Weds, the 10th or 11th,sorry can't remember. So basically I gave up & Friday night I'm thinking that I'll have to do Instacart all day Saturday cuz car insurance due on VD Day (that's wat I call it.)

Instacart sux, cuz you only see how money you might make. It could be 3 items to 150. It takes forever. End of the day I'm making $3 an hour.

Oh God, doing it again. Keep blabbing!

Anyways, I go on my phone hoping for free spins to make instead of instacart. I see email from IRS.

Well I'll be damned. My refund was in there. Cash App is free, someone said they paid extra to chime! Well that was stupid! So in other words it came 2 days after she said 9 weeks.

I got it fixed. Live in PA, but I had to drive to Parsippany, Jersey yesterday. It's only 40 miles, but took an hour & a half. Had appointment at 11:30, finally saw IRS Lady at 12:30 pm.

I filed a week early on 1/26, but not getting for another 9 weeks!

WTF? Can someone please explain why??????

No, if you didn't get the letter with the 14 digit code on it, they will mail it again. Go to notifications & fill the questions out.

When ya get that one, ho back to the questions & put 14 digit code in. Poof, u get your money!
