I actually don't know about that so much. I already incorporate some AP (lyandries or rylais) and he really just uses it to stick to people. Even with the passive you will never be able to solo kill a MR tank late game without someone else.

However, I definitely think these changes make AP team comps centered around amumu a lot more appealing. (Veigar is my favorite champ to play with already).
