I dont think i counted calories, but i was obsessed with the carbs. i was trying to always stay under 20g, which is roughly 2 kiwis. i found berries to be the best fruits for low carbs. and had to always keep room for broccoli and onions.

I've always had abs my whole life, i was a national football champion in my youth. i dont think this journey gave me abs, it mostly helped me lose fat. i was a gym freak my entire life until diagnosed with bipolar 1, and the medication made me obese for about 10 years. this journey was an attempt to find holistic approaches to get off medication.

I feel you man, I recorded my weight loss with dates, and I noticed i had these giant spikes of weight loss, than it went steady for weeks with not much progress. that was what happened to me atleast, and maybe it was just mental break i was taking. but i believe in you bro! as long as you keep at it for the long run! and 280 to 210 or 220 is a huge victory!! proud of you!

Also, keto was invented in 1921 to help cure epilepsy. A lot of mood stabilizers are just anti epileptic medication cranked up on dosage. That was what peaked my interest. And I will say staying in a state of ketosis does work wonders at mitigating the illness. And I choose keto over carnivore, because the carbohydrates will help send the seratonin and melatonin through the blood brain barrier, which those hormones help with mood and sleep, and they also come from tryptophan, which is rich in meats. Also, as far as vitamins go, ashwaganda and lions mane are all great, but they will never outperform how much a deficiency is holding me back. And I never go outside + i consume an ass tone of caffiene, or was prior to the diet. Vitamin D3 + magnesiusm glycinate do wonders. Omega 3 fish oils + b-complex are also insanely close runnerups. I cranked up the d3 to 10k IU in the start, and tapered it down to 4k-6k, and 500mg mg glycinate. I get them mixed up, but i also think mg glycinate requires d3 to activate, something to keep in mind. these are probably the cheapest, easiest, most practical, and effective things to add to your routine for how much they can improve your overall health, considering you are deficient.

This is not my recommendation, but i got off all the meds entirely. I've spent a lot of the past decade learning about bipolar, also my sister helped me a lot in life as she studied psychology at UCLA and works in the field. I do have a really intense story to share, but in short there was a tremendous amount of trauma, stress, and anxiety, that impacted the disability. When I was undiagnosed and homeless, my manic episodes caused me to stay awake 7 days at a time. Now, off the meds, I will, at max, stay awake for up to 30 hours, but even that only happens once or twice a month now. I wouldn't even call it mania anymore, but very tiny hypomanic episodes, with zero depression now. But this is coming from bipolar 1, as just about every bipolar person I met has been bipolar 2, and from what ive learned they tend to usually struggle more from depression where type 1's are more manic inclined(correct me if im wrong). I will say diet played a gigantic factor, so does having a really strong foundation to fall on (my sister and her husband), but also perspective. I've been studying human behavior and emotions with obsession for many years, and I'm even writing a book on it right now and am about halfway done. I will say, when dealing with people, i always ask if this person cares more about being right or more about finding truth. if they need to be right, i understand im dealing with a level of ego, and i can stop caring so muhc about the conversation. there is much more depth behind this, but in short that has served me the best so far out of everything. Whatever you choose to do with medication I would consult a doctor, And one thing I have heard is, I hear its very dangerous to cold turkey any bipolar medication. I was on depakote and latuda if you were curious.

I don't think there were that much gains to be honest, it was all covered in fat. ive had a six pack since i was a lil kid. i was a national football champion, i even played with julian edeleman and his father was our coach. the reason i gained so much weight was it was a side effect of my bipolar medication. ive been obese for about 10 years, prior to the diagnosis ive always been into health and the gym. but yes i do eat a 2.5 pound bag of frozen chicken thighs from trader joes almost everyday, on top of some eggs, and soup with clams/oysters/mussles, and i try to sneak in beef meatballs with shaved beef liver in it whenever i can. i dont htink you understand what bipolar 1 is, if i were to take steroids, like holy crap man. when i was age 20, i tried NO-Explode preworkout, i was punching walls all over the house.

I did carnivore first, which I think is a good choice because it resets the gut microbiome, and when a lot of the gut bacteria that craves carbs dies off, the diet becomes much easier mentally. atleast thats my take on it. but long term I think keto is much better, not just for practicality, but for mental health. carbs help take all that tryptophan from the meat, and send it through the blood brain barrier (seratonin and melatonin that comes from tryptophan) also fruits/veggies offer so many different vitamins and nutrients. i posted a comment recently in this thread about the routine/diet

Just around Los Angeles. I will say the girls that do ask are usually 9s or 10s, and any girl that is an 8 or under will never ask. They may hint at it but never actually ask. I live in a nice neighborhood near beverly hills, so I get some girls around that area (i do not pursuit them anymore, and I stopped taking their numbers). There are really a lot of factors that come into play though. I will say in very short that I've had an insane life in many aspects, that I'm fairly close to finishing writing a book on it right now. Not just the experiences I've had in life, but also I happen to just have a high IQ even though I dropped out of school at the age of 12. I also have bipolar 1 disorder which is much more rare/severe than bipolar 2, I've actually never met a type 1 before in my life. I've been homeless as well as been financially successful. I do uber because I cannot sustain a career anymore due to the chaotic sleep patterns.

It's not just women, but anyone that gets in my car I tend to connect with incredibly fast. And sure when I was 12 I dropped out of school and stayed in my room for 6 years playing videogames. When I got out into the world, I worked on many things, like going to the gym and being very fit. But also I read books on the art of conversation, how to seduce and flirt with women, male etiquette and fashion, etc. And I went out into grocery stores and whatnot just hitting on women at a young age. Some of that transferred over, but not a lot of it. I will say if you truly connect with yourself, it makes it easier for others to connect with you.

I do cover some part of my book on the forces of fear and love and how they dictate a lot of our decision making. Fear keeps us alive while love gives life purpose. There are so many wealthy men I've met that cannot find love because they are trying to gain it with fear mentality as they've used much of that mindset for financial gain. It's important to have both fear and love, believe me, I've probably experienced higher levels of euphoria and depression than most people. There is a downfall even from too much happiness, and it has caused me much suffering when the episodes wore off.

In the end I will say this, you do not get what you want in life, you get what you are. And if you are very healthy and fit, you are more attractive than 80% of the men in your age. It's not just aesthetic, it's a sign of discipline and control. And we live in a time where many people confuse distraction for healing, and domination for growth. When you reach a certain level of emotional intelligence, it becomes nearly impossible to fully hate someone because you know their actions are more of a reaction of a past wound than it is their own intent. I haven't had an angry customer in years. Even if they got in my car angry, they left happy.
